And now the truth????

You set out up the d'Huez thinking to yourself, "Ok lets see how much power I can make for half an hour and if I can keep going I will". Then half an hour later you're thinking "Yee Haa Active 8 That'll do me, and I'm way too knackered to finish this". Yeah, we've all been there and we'd all do the same again if we could.

If there were bkool rules, this would be one of them. Something along the lines of "There is only one acceptable excuse for not finishing a ride ......."

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me!
But now you have to sit back Guy, watch a couple of people riding Huez later in the day, wait 10 minutes, and then feel compelled to commit suicide by BKool and try and catch them, despite your legs feeling like Cheesestrings!
Nearly €$¥%#+@&£ killed myself yesterday after my competitive demons overruled my common sense!

We share vital statistics Kip. I am the same height, and weight. Although I have lost weight since I started on BKool, I have never adjusted it. Might get a big leap if I do.

OMG, if you put your weight down much you'll be even faster up the hills! :surrender:

I can't really lose much more, down from 15st 5lbs to 12st 12 lbs, at 6' 3". The only choice I have is to increase power to get a better Bkool level.
Thats some going! I'll never see the other side of 13 stone again and I'm 3 inches shorter!! :shy:

I had the same up until about a year ago. Big difference moving to the road stuff.

I had MTB shoes with SPD and just bought some cheap Shimano road shoes but still using the same small metal SPD cleats on them too. Already had two sets of pedals that suited them so just stuck with them on the new bike too. So am I missing out by now using the bigger plastic type cleats?

I tried a pair of Specialised S-Works shoes on in the shop, and fell in love! At £270 it was the marriage or the shoes. I decided to save the marriage! But got lucky on ebay, and got a BNIB pair for £150. Some guy bought them and they were too big! Pristine condition, and a fantastic pair of shoes! Would HIGHLY recommend if the budget will stretch. I take the cleats off at weekends and wear them out!

What you couldn't see was my heart rate and greenish hue! Hardest I've ever pushed, without question that run. Mainly because I had already done it halfway up once at max pace, much like yourself, but also swam and ran earlier.
It's a good ache now though, and glad I did it.
That is right until Bill ruins my time.
The finish we had Geoff will be just like the handicap I'm going to do. There will be a lot of PB's I think during that race.
But that's why we need everyone to have a crack at Huez, even if it's a tough slog, you will get a nice headstart in the handicap run then.

Flabergasted ...

Thanks for your message. Sorry, we didn't inform you properly. Only Bkool trainers simulates inertia, therefore they will go faster at downhills. We hope that further Bkool Indoor simulator's updates will be able to simulate this feature for every other trainers.

Your request has been solved.

At £3900 rrp I'm hoping the sales will be good. I may need to buy the wife a new car to seal the deal.
