I have done firmware updates previously, but apparently the Mac software no longer has the capability to do it. There certainly seems to be no way to trigger it as far as I can tell, with laptop sat right next to the trainer.

To update your Classic, and I bet it has a black roller, your probably need a floppy drive and a serial port on your PC as well, and a 385 chip.

Let just say that i am normal hetero, better keep things simple as possible ^_^.

There you go again being gender specific.
In the UK we are moving toward a genderless society and not this binary rubbish that exists in the rest of the animal kingdom.
Therefore you can't be a 'normal' hetro as because there is only one/no gender that will make us all normal, even Berty.

The dongle needs to be right next to the trainer to do a fw update successfuly. I had issues until I used a usb extension to move the dongle. I am at the top of the fw updates for the classic I have. I did not see a f-ec notification or switch or whatever when I did my update. But that was on the previous version of the bsim sw.

You keep your dongle where you want but mines going nowhere near a spinning wheel!

So I just checked, and it doesn't seem to find the BKool classic. Which is also what they say on their website will happen, w/o the f-ec update.

:huh::unsure::crazy::cry: I'm using a classic on there. Mine has a ridged roller I'm not sure what connections are on the unit I'll double check tonight.

Edit

I'm not sure what fw is on there either. 2.06 rings a bell, but I'll check tonight.
I've checked trainer connections. Looks like a mini usb connection and a phone jack???

This setup works on BRVR.

Just finished CG1. I couldn't seem to find anyone here to add as a ghost so ended up doing it TT style.

Finished it in 32:05. Pretty happy with that as it was the first ride since pre-Christmas/Illness. I might give it another go later in the month when I'm feeling stronger and there might be a ghost or two available to add so I can get a bit of respite! ^_^. Puts me in the chasing pack for a WC place.

Keith - I've added my time to your spreadsheet. Pretty sure I haven't buggered it up .

Aleman was it you or maybe Breedon who said that they were going to offer 20% off and a lifetime price freeze if you sign up in the first couple of weeks? I just want to get on board the train before that deal expires.
Yep, that's what they say on the website as well :okay::okay::okay::okay: I'm waiting for them to announce it as I'm going to jump on it when it happens as well

This setup works on BRVR.

The phone jack is for the early phone remote control app.
Dial 5 for select, 2 for up, 8 for down, 4 left, 6 right, # for quit and * for Whorty cheat mode.

Edit: Sorry forgot 1 for double watts AAAC mode and 3 slow down for Bill mode.
