Yes it's still free, well it was yesterday. New update suppose to release in few days too. I read that there suppose to come 2 new features, coast in downhills and you can resume your unfinished ride.
I think that with the recent update it is now a chargeable service. It worked for me: high quality video, great software and customer support. I may well join, in addition to bkool, if I have the energy!

I have full self-protection mode on thru that session. Tesla coil field is surrounding tender areas.

Did you know that 'full self-protection mode' is an anagram of 'Modest erection pull off'?

I'd hope not.

So I just checked, and it doesn't seem to find the BKool classic. Which is also what they say on their website will happen, w/o the f-ec update.
:huh::unsure::crazy::cry: I'm using a classic on there. Mine has a ridged roller I'm not sure what connections are on the unit I'll double check tonight.

Edit

I'm not sure what fw is on there either. 2.06 rings a bell, but I'll check tonight.

Not according to the website yet  I suppose they might not have updated the website ... but then how do you pay for your subscription ...

Aleman was it you or maybe Breedon who said that they were going to offer 20% off and a lifetime price freeze if you sign up in the first couple of weeks? I just want to get on board the train before that deal expires.

If it is 2.06, then it is way more recent than mine. Mine won't update (on the mac) beyond 1.something. They did say that it can be updated further with a PC than a Mac though, so I will be able to investigate that when the PC I have on order comes.

The dongle needs to be right next to the trainer to do a fw update successfuly. I had issues until I used a usb extension to move the dongle. I am at the top of the fw updates for the classic I have. I did not see a f-ec notification or switch or whatever when I did my update. But that was on the previous version of the bsim sw.

I have done firmware updates previously, but apparently the Mac software no longer has the capability to do it. There certainly seems to be no way to trigger it as far as I can tell, with laptop sat right next to the trainer.
