Nations Cup Qualifying League now showing on Bkool website as an Active League. However, it's showing as having no active stages, and stage 1 is still not showing in my scheduled sessions
Stage one is only showing my Bimble session ... The good news for me is that it puts @theboxers ahead of me ... Have fun in the Nations Cup TB

Well done that is a good time on your own - I am sure you'll go quicker with a ghost or two to draft with. If you can find someone's ride to challenge you'll at least get their ghost even if you can't add any more

I'm pretty sure @peterob can go 25 seconds quicker if he puts his mind to it. Follow my ghost then clobber it at the end would seem to be a good strategy to get that last point on offer :okay:.

One may be forgiven in suspecting that you would not be too disappointed to just miss out on the NC Bill!

Given that you have first-hand experience of the competition from last year, this is indeed worrying for the rest of us!

I think the lasting nightmare for me was hearing @bridgy get cramp for 10 minutes in the velodrome in my ear... my nightmare makes those sounds into something a whole lot worse... the mind boggles!
That cramp was horrendous - so sorry you had to listen to my screams of agony!! I kept going though :boxing:(which was of course the problem!)

@keithaitch we started warming up at around 9.30am and were all done (literally) by about 1pm

I must admit at the time I sort of laughed at the madness of the situation. You were clearly in complete bloody agony. And wearing the headsets meant we got the whole lot like you were right in our ears!. It sounded like you were going through a particularly bad labour! I didn’t think you were going to complete the event to be honest it, no one would have blamed you. Turns out I should of had A LOT more faith!

I totally concur, how long did nightmares last @BILL S?just so we en advise loved ones! Or slip a chain at a critical moment on Thursday
Don't worry Keith. The pain and humiliation only lasted about 3 hours with two (very short for me) breaks in between. My goal last year was to score a minimum of 3 points in total, which I succeeded in (I think I got 5 or 6) and to just finish and survive the whole thing. All in all I enjoyed it (well looking back  ) however, this year I feel a little less fit so am a bit concerned. Hopefully if I do make the team I'll get to last years fitness level with a bit of training, but must admit that I'd really quite like to be watching the action from the comfort of my living room, rather than the cold hard saddle in the pain cave.

What's worse though @BILL S , the humiliation of coming last in an NC race, or the thought of losing out on the 5th place to me?!? If that's not motivation enough, I can't think what is  (p.s. that same sentiment goes to the rest of you having doubts .... I will never let you live it down that I qualified ahead of you :wahhey: )
