That is fixed, lets call it the 'Whorty' manoeuvre:okay:

Every incline starts with a huge flatline of power, speed

That is really taking the piss:excl:
What I still find interesting/strange is I know I was doing it and it was for (I think if memory serves me well) about 20 or so seconds at a time and you couldn't see the cheat in the graphs. So how long do you have to hold the cheat to get these obvious graphs?!?

Just found the leader board. Either you boys weren’t trying too hard or I had some BKOOL assistance...

I actually did the ride on my summer bike with a power meter and my power wasn’t as high as I can go. But something can’t be right there.
Or you're seriously on fire :notworthy:

I thought you couldn't use a separate power meter in Bkool? Is the resistance working correctly Tommy?

I didn't even think about the switch off trick more, I thought, sign of a dodgy turbo, i.e. the resistance not changing when it should.
I'm pretty sure your watts plummet to zero everyone you switch on if you do that 'cheat'.

I had my Speedo running on the handlebars Andy so I could cross reference it with BKOOL. It measures cadence too. For the record the cadence wasn’t that far off BKOOL’s guesstimate. If I was spinning around 90rpm then BKOOL has it at 100. It went out a bit further when I went above 100.

At a very loose guess, my power meter was showing 230w to BKOOL 300w. My 300 to BKOOL 425ish. It wasn’t scientific at all. And yes I am aware even mentioning this may open another big can of worms!

Also my pm did show up on the BKOOL ‘find a bit of kit’ screen. But i didn’t try using it through the software.

I didn't think my watts dropped as the thought was that if the power is off more than 30 seconds then the power dropped so I was trying to keep the cheat within that time so that I didn't get the obvious trough. Can't recall to be sure, but I do remember that the graph didn't look too 'cheaty' even though I clearly employed the cheat ... and this is the interesting thing for me, so maybe when the graph is so strange it's as you say not a 'cheat' but something dodgy maybe with the trainer or internet connection .... don't know :surrender:

Gosh, really that much!
From a personal point of view, I'm quite pleased with that even if it is such a wild difference if my trainer is similar .... it means when Bkool shows 300 on ride for me I'm really around 230 which I'm quite proud of. I can hold 300 'Bkool' watts for 30 minutes on flattish courses so that gives me an estimated FTP of 230  I was worried I might be closer to 150

At a very very loose guesstimate bud. Those numbers could be out. Now I’ve broken the seal so to speak, of putting my pride and joy on the turbo. I could do a more controlled test in the velodrome I guess. Just have to wait for a time when I won’t disturb anyone.

Great time TT... actually a phenominal ride!
Jacob rode only 9 seconds quicker on the stage last NC so that is really really fast!
I think you've actually been planning this all year to peak at the right time. Chris Froome in disguise? If you need an inhaler Dr Whorty can help...
It looks like you had a sub 30 minute ride last year. Are you well enough to make a run?

That doesn't surprise me at all - the watts in BSim have always been ridiculously high. As we know they report too high in Zwift too but nowhere near as much as in BSim

It was close to what I was expecting too to be honest. Just from using the PM on the road. I was suprised how closely matched the cadence was though. In the past BKOOL was putting my cadence at 40/50 rpm when I was spinning close to 80. Maybe that’s been adjusted with an update.
