And it might be team UK but it’s team CycleChat first. We didn’t leave the ‘CycleChat’ after our nicknames in by mistake last time. We did it because We can be proud of making a team from such a small comunity. It really is rocky balboa stuff. And not just because most of us look and act like we've been hit in the face too many times...

Beautiful. :hugs::cry:

I,ll be painting the road for Tommy and Whorty:okay:

Fingers crossed they allow us to actually watch the racing this year, and not log in to a dodgy feed watching Danes get pished... still grumpy about that.

Tommy! Tommy! Tommy!

"A vague haze of delirium
Creeps up on me
All at once a tall stranger I suddenly see
He's dressed in a silver sparkled
Glittering gown
And his golden beard flows
Nearly down to the ground
Nothing to say, nothing to hear
Nothing to see
Each sensation makes a note
In my symphony"

Saturday night - The old lad has started early..

I found the guy who has bought Peps old Turbo, Kuchen.
For you Whorty, he's Danish so this is probably genuine but no wonder he flew past me on the first climb.

I’ll say this Whorty. I didn’t have to qualify to get on the team last year so if you do qualify you’ll already of done more than we had to previously. Whoever gets on the team this year has definitely earned their place.

To be honest in the build up I knew I was the weakest guy in the team. This isn’t false modesty, they’d been consistently kicking my arse for the whole time I’d been racing them!

But really when it came down to it that didn't really matter, winning was always going to be tough so we made sure we had a good time. I think we all just had a fantastic time being part of the team. I hope if Bill makes the team again he'll blow the cobwebs off his wallet and buy a headset this time! ^_^

It would honestly be a surprise to me if I make the team again because I've not raced much in a while. But I'll be just as happy, and way less sweaty! Cheering on the team. In fact it would be great to give something back for all the support we got last year
Blimey Tommy - it may be late and I may have had a couple of small glasses of red wine, but that brought a happy tear to my eye

Elgar's Nimrod and panoramic views of the British countryside literally started playing in my head as I read it. Whatever happens in the qualifying league you're going to have to do the pre-race team motivation speech mate!

Forget the pre race speech. I’ll be humming the dam busters tune over the radio as you boys cross the finish line!!
