Same for me Carl. All I can add in the way of ghosts is you and Brusgaard. Not sure where the other CC ghosts are.
No point adding me, unless you want a warm down ride

Brusgaard, and therefore you and Keith, must have been pushing massive numbers from the off yesterday, I couldn't get anywhere near Brusgaard's ghost!

Yep it seem that things are all over the shop this month. I can see the league on the web, but only @Aleman time from Wednesday showing and it doesn't show any rides on the bsim in my leagues though the rides are there twice, in my groups. I'll keep updating the spreadsheet so we have a reliable source of info.

You did well to hold 600+ watts for the first minute, I was way down on that. However, I may have just changed my ride plans for tomorrow, and may have to rerun the stage  I did find it difficult to keep my concentration in the final 1/3 so probably ended up not putting in a full effort
I was shot by the end of that first km though so suffered then for the rest of the ride with very tired legs. I don't know why I added Brusgaard's ghost as I can never stay with him on the starts  If my legs feel OK I might have a go at the re-run tomorrow, if only to suck your wheel the whole ride

I'm still smarting from being dropped at the start of first couple of rides by aaac and Bill and am realizing how hard it is to bridge over to a group if you find yourself on your own after a 5kms so going as hard as possible at the start seems to give you more options. Saying that I'll no doubt find myself adrift of everybody next week. It's it the climb next week?

I went up to 600 watts for that first km but I knew as soon as I lost the wheel there was no way I'd get it back as I'd watched you guys live Thursday working together so no way I could pull any gaps back. Awesome start for you guys and big kudos :notworthy:

LIVING THE DREAM

Same happened to me when I was a Cyclechat newbie.
The trick is:
From the immediate get go BSim is slow to apply resistance regardless of how you kick off so get yourself on the big ring and on a 13 sprocket and just smash the pedals up to the highest cadence you can manage before the software wakes up and even try to get on the 11 sprocket if you can.
Miss this sweet spot and those that don't will be meters up the road.
It's therefore important to warm up a bit like you were about to start in a Crit' i.e. do the normal base warm up and add some long sprints to get the ticker on the move.
If you look at the stats of many of the league forerunners we hit stupid speeds in the first few hundred meters.
Most of us will be quicker than Cav on a good day being led out by an on form Kittle.

I had a rather frustrating go at Stouby Sejet stage tonight with the ghost of @keithaitch (I challenged his ride but couldn't add anyone else's ghosts). Bkool was super glitchy and kept freezing - including at the very start and then every few seconds for the rest of the stage. The glitch on the start line meant Keith's ghost got away from me as I was stuck on the line - not ideal considering how fast he started! So Keith was immediately ahead and then every time my avatar started moving again after freezing Keith's ghost was another few seconds ahead - I don't know whether this was because of the glitches or would have happened anyway. So it was very much a solo ride! Here's the ride - http://www.bkool.com/bkoolSessionHistory/showSessionSummary/5825964 - time was 32.36. I will try and do the live re-run tomorrow if I can make it - hopefully without the glitches

P.S. that was 4 and half minutes slower than my time in the Nations Cup last year - I'm definitely not that much less fit now! So I wouldn't worry too much about being 20 seconds slower @BILL S - in fact that should be quite encouraging!

I've updated the spreadsheet with your time let me know if you better it in the live run, hope it's not glitchy for you and excuse the poor manners of my not waiting for you
