Even for the measly cost of £8 to get the best UK team we can put together?

And the cost of the bkool fairy dust pro? Nows not the time to open that can of worms:angel:
But even then I wouldn’t get anywhere near your front runners. Lee though, on the lumpy bits- he’s ya man.

I look forward to watching you all race and cheering from the sidelines:okay:

i have an old bkool pro sitting in greenhouse that i am willing to let someone use if they have wanged theirs !
i am more than happy just sitting on sideline watching on youtube with a beer

1 last question. If riding the race rerun at 5pm tomorrow, or at any other time, how do I summon the ghosts to accompany me?
Go to your scheduled sessions page and hit the Edit button. Then select Players and add the ghosts you want. If you can't find the ghosts you want, change the various settings on the left which should give you additional ghosts to select. Then select the Edit button again to save the ghosts you added.

My own time (Simon in BKool) was 00:44:24. I won't be threatening any of the top placeholders. (Not even if I can gain a few Watts by replacing my creaky bottom bracket - the bike I have dedicated to the turbo was sitting outside Waterloo station in the rain for 3 years...)

Is it normal to be able to sustain much higher powers on the big climbs than on the flat btw? I had 2.3 Watt/kg on Stouby-Sejet, but managed 3.6 on Alpe d'Huez the other day. I wonder if it is a calibration issue with my trainer (one of the very early BKool Classics).

@simonsch . Your early Classic is likely to be stuck on an early firmware as anything that is no ANT + FEC compatible won't get any further upgrades which may result in these power anomalies or wear in the moving parts is affecting the resistance generated. .
I wouldn't read too much into 'calibrating' either.
In order to calibrate something you need to be able to measure an output against a test measure.
I can't see that they can measure any output from your trainer remotely other than electrical activity such as the number of turns of the stepper motor against a measured command.
It is always possible that the is a sensor on the PCB that somehow measures the field current generated by the magnetic brake but somehow I doubt that.
At best I expect they test each trainer post production by driving it with a calibrated motor and then map the movement of the stepper motor so that the virtual electronic watts output from the turbo matches the torque produced by the calibrated motor and or they may simply machine the flywheel spacer to give the 'best fit' output torque map.
From this they could ensure remotely that your stepper motor is still following the original map but that's about it.
I can't even remember them asking me to ride the bike when I had a call from them.

Ghosts should be banned from re runs! It's too easy, if you can manage it, to latch on to a 'better' riders ghost, and draft them to the finish, before pulling out a last minute sprint to pass them and get a better time than you would/could normally achieve!

Just MHO

Back off man, your almost a ghost yourself!

I've just put in my solo time for NC1 46.18. I felt pretty good so I may have not left every thing on the road.

Edit
It has registered in the league.

2nd edit
3 minutes quicker than last year as I was coming out of being very unwell.
Did my solo ride tonight. Could only add either Bill or Brusgaard as ghosts ..... added the latter but didn't see him from the first 10 metres so kind of pointless :banghead: 2 live riders joined my, one of whom was a smidge faster than me but also gave me a target to chase, so even though it was an ITT with little drafting I'm quite pleased with my time of 35.26 May have had a bit more in my legs had I not tried to get on Brusgaard's wheel in the first km, which is always a bit suicidal!

Just noticed I managed to beat @Aleman by a whole 24 seconds ...... that lead will be destroyed once we get into the hills :B)

You did well to hold 600+ watts for the first minute, I was way down on that. However, I may have just changed my ride plans for tomorrow, and may have to rerun the stage  I did find it difficult to keep my concentration in the final 1/3 so probably ended up not putting in a full effort

Same for me Carl. All I can add in the way of ghosts is you and Brusgaard. Not sure where the other CC ghosts are.
