Same for me Paul. I've tried as @Whorty suggested and moved the start date of Stouby Sejet to tomorrow but doubt that'll help. I guess we'll just have to fudge it tomorrow or whenever we all do the ride.
Don't forget we also have @keithaitch 's Excel spreadsheet league so we don't really need the Bkool league, we could just start the ride at 7 tomorrow from a none league session. Any re-runs could then just be a challenge of the rise tomorrow for those who can't make the live race.

to January's spread sheet, as you can see we all stayed together nicely and all crossed the line together! Could somebody try and access it to see if they can change their time. It0s easiest to just amend the time using f2 or enter in the format HH:MM:SS. It won't affect the ranking as I'll need to re do that via a sort, but I haven't done this before so am not sure how globally accessable sheets work! I'm happy to adminsiter and update this if bkool continue to be slow to update /cause us problems with setting up the leagues.

Thanks Keith. I just took a look at the spreadsheet and it seems to be editable and saveable. Should be ideal.

I've just made a change, and resorted it by Total ... also added a comment as some of the cells don't have borders in the middle of the range ... Hopefully those changes will show up.

Off to bimble stage 1 now in ERG mode 150W

I am working late again tomorrow.
It is becoming a weekly event that I can't escape from so I will be there on Saturday.
Had a go at WC5 tonight, what a disaster!
I challenged one of the higher placed riders who was 2:15 off of Pep's 08:18 time.
This gave me two Pep's to chase with the slower 01:46 of his pace.
I started well with a typical BKool mega start and was ahead of the bunch but 'allowed' the two Pep's to catch me.
One Pep was drafting the other and I was drafting them both.
Then one of the Pep's took off and I chased him into the the climb where he started to draw away from me as Pep 2 closed.
As we got to the short descent at km 4.5 I managed to pull away from Pep 2 and was making headway on Pep1 and then as I hit the climb that rears up 400m later at about 14% (I seem to remember) I dropped back onto the small ring and dropped my chain.
I jumped of the bike and remounted the chain before my back wheel even stopped spinning but too much time was lost so I decided to bimble to the finish and use the ride as a RECCE.
I then went to the Drome and recovered for 15 minutes and relaunched the session.
1 km in I started getting chest pains and had to bail.
I shall try again Friday night if my wife lets me.

Not good @AAAC 76C .... chest pains is always a message that maybe you're working too hard! Not sure if I can make the live ride tomorrow as I'm off site and not sure what time I'll be back home. WFH Friday so worst case is I'd do a lone ride with ghosts then :okay:

Can someone please explain, as if talking to their senile grandparent who has yet to learn how to use the telly remote, how I go about doing these races. I can see that I am now inducted into the Chain gang group. AFter some labour, I have found some scheduled events on the Bkool Share>groups web-page. I will still be at work tomorrow evening so might do it on Saturday. How do I join the race, ie how do I get the scheduled race on the bkool website page to appear when I fire up the simulator, or do I need to just browse the "live sessions". Yours in mild confusion... (PS I am unlikely to keep up with too many people, having gone to HR 164 on the 5min FTP test to achieve the lofty rank of Amateur 3.)

On the hour of the race say 5 on Saturday click on routes and then click on filter. Type "bill" into the field that says names then apply filter. The ride should show and then you click on it and click join. There should be some names you recognize from here on the starting line waiting for the warm up 10 minute countdown. The race starts at 5:10.
I'll see you at the back of the pack.

If joining a 'live' race Simply check here who is starting it, at the appointed time in the sim, do a search for a Live ride with the Name = Whoever (Usually Bill S) in the Filter ... You'll find one.

If doing it alone, In the Sim ... My Sessions - find the CG Session for the week and run it ... Hint Add a couple of Lapdogs ;)

You can set rides up on the web site but you can't launch them from there, you can only launch or join rides showing in the simulator.

For the scheduled group live session an individual is elected in this forum to launch the live ride and for the chaingang Bill S is the default 'launcher' and others step in at his request.
So lets say Bill S launches the Live Session at 19:00.
At the point he launches the ride it will show in the 'Live' section in BSim which is where you will need to join from.
Unfortunately only 8 or 9 lives rides are now displayed so unless you catch it in the Live section quickly will need to find it through the Search function so you click Search, then Routes and then click on Filter and enter part of the schedule session name in the relevant filter field.
Once you complete the filter you may now see one or more rides.
Click on one of the rides them click the 'Cyclists' tab to check that it is the correct ride. If not exit the ride and try another until you find Bill S/the elected launcher.
Once you are there simply click Join.
I can do some screen shots another time if you wish but I don't have BSim loaded on this Laptop.

If you had joined 4 years ago you would have found a far more intuitive GUI in BSim but they 'improved it' for some reason (probably for Android Touch Screens).
