The gravy may be OK but KFC, fek!
Only time I stopped at a KFC is when I came off my GT250 in Shinfield Reading because of black ice, didn't go in though as already had enough poison in my blood after another night in the Coopers.
What was that Pub called opposite Dave @OldYews where all the Teddy Boys hang out.
It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't spit it out.
Cant remember that pub, (red wine memory loss). But I do remember hammering past KFC Shinfield every Thursday evening, pillion with Woody (a coy), then up in the morning for our 6.30 training ride, sports breakfast then Friday phase tests.

Less of the little bob-hic-ski!

A nice little cheeky Penfolds Shiraz tonight.
Hit the White Gin last weekend in desperation and didn't feel too well Saturday.
Mind that could have been something to do with the Red Wine that preceded it.

Getting all teary eyed looking at maps of Reading.
But not because of the great time I had there at Apprentice College but because it's where my first wife lived when I met her.
Scary!

Do you all like my Christmas bike by the way.
I'm trying to work out whether she needs a shave or not.

But she doesn't appear to be sporting a Santa beard.
However her saddle has got lost somewhere.
Top Tip: Keep your knees together when cycling.

Save the 'interesting' stories for when I am working in Yeovil!.....but its weird to think it was 40 years ago!

Circa '77 heard coming from all the Spider blocks at AAC Arborfield....

My bunk would have been one of them.

Still got Dreamboat Annie stuffed away somewhere.

How appropriate 'White Lighting and Wine' was to become.

The gooder they come, the harder they fall
Turn around you are a nasty joke
Yeah, we all laugh oh, hah, what a gas!
Watching you chew on the bones
In the morning light you didn't look so nice
Guess you'd better hitch hike home

Second person being first person.

Looking forward to it already.
Would you like me to get Manuel on board as well?
Perhaps Dick Paine as well.
And then there is Kev Morton and perhaps few of your old Squadron buddies are shacked up in nursing homes around here as well.

Surely not 40, I'm not even 40!

I was only 17 when I started drinking, where have the yesterdays gone.

Dick Paine was on the back of me when the bike slipped over.
We were both left standing up as we were going that slow.

This time of year is Norwegian moonshine time....Trondheim etc......

Hmmm, Moonshine, not sure if it was better or worse than Poteen.
Had a bad day that involved the latter in Aldergrove on Christmas day.
I seem to remember I ended up naked in the NAFFI Bop.
Luckily it had closed and it was just the staff and a few hangers on, like me, left.
Oh, and the duty Officer.
I escaped a night in the cells by the length of y short and curlys.

Just looking closer at the phot and if my hair got that long nowdays it would drive me potty (and it still can).
Still go big ears though, which is why I always tried to keep my hair long but now I realise they distract folk from my ugly mug, busted. more than once, bridge and wonky teeth.
The latter being the reason why I never smile in photos and the whole being the reason why I don't have a multitude of photos of my past baring weddings, funerals and holidays.
And the odd mug shot down the Nick.
