Anyone competing in the Summer Cup later?
Will be on the 7 o'clock ride. Legs tired from last night so not 100% sure I'll complete but will stick with GW for as long as I can :okay:

maybe see how I feel but ive got to try and gain some minutes as I'm fearing of finishing off the 1st page as I'm sliding down the rankings
I may see how GW goes then. If he starts fast with us we can work together as a team. If GW doesn't mind I can try to help you to a good time. See if I can save you some energy before I drop out and you have a storming finish :becool:

We have a small london garden, overlooked by an oak and fir trees. Despite our best efforts and a lot of money invested in relating turf and looking after it 3 times we gave up. We always ended up with a muddy mess after a year or two .those oaks shed a lot of leaves. Invested in posh (read expensive) artificial grass and wish we had done it years ago. Mind you I don't play golf.
My in-laws have artificial grass in their small yard. The good stuff looks and feels wonderful. A park my kids like to play in has cheap stuff that doesn't feel good and hasn't held up to the daily abuse of munchkins, so it looks like crap too.

Not long after seeing how my in-laws "grass" looked and felt, I priced the stuff. My jaw dropped at its cost. But I keep thinking about it every time I pay the water bill & mow... Hell, given our water bills here I could probably have covered a goodly amount of the yard in quality stuff by now.

3 new lawns in 9y and (because neighbours wont pay to lop or contriol their oak and leylandi) £450 biannual cost of a tree surgeon made it an easy decision. It is the nice stuff and the offcuts are now in the loft around the turbo ^_^ it is lovely and soft.

I don't believe you guys are covering the world in plastic that gives nothing back to the atmosphere.
It will be plastic trees next and the eco system will break down totally
Shame on you all

PS my front lawn is a real begger, how much does it cost?
