LIVING THE DREAM
Off topic post:

I have a carbon Bored-man which for those who follow this thread closely, suffered a broken seat stay which I repaired successfully. Since I broke it chasing Randy.. (oh heck, that sounds wrong) chasing @Randyberlin. I resprayed the seat stay all black which is different to the other, which has yellow.. anyways... I've decided to repaint the frame this winter and fancy a new colour.. I quite fancy something other than black and I'm open to any ideas..

Any thoughts?

Similar to Randy's choice but I have always like the Holdsworth Team colours, the bright orange with blue green panels, a little bit like the famous Molteni bikes which is below as well

And their team car was cool as well

So have I.

My first proper bike (not the actual one, although I know where it is). 501 reynolds tubing. Upgraded to indexed 105 rear deraileur, used to ride it up Anerley Hill, Crystal Palace to work in West Dulwich.
Edit: IIRC it was a 52/42 chainset with a 5 (or maybe 6) speed cassette going out to 25 or 26 . Broke a chain riding up Gypsy Hill coming home from work one night :banghead:

I was in it initially as a tick over ride ready for Thursday so I had the idea of just matching Brusgaard but from in front.
In true Cyclechat style I threw in a few bots which sat well behind me until I sat up a bit waiting for our resident Dane to catch up.
The bots then got ahead of me and were getting in the way as two of them were the ones that help you (Lapdogs).
Anyway Brusgaard caught me up and we left all but one of the ghosts behind (Mr Smart).
I did put in a big dig from about 1 km out so you did well to stay with me as I was BKooling at 460 watts.
Got to say though that something is eating away at my va va voom.
I'm always tired in the mornings now and work is becoming a struggle to motivate myself.
On Sunday I was almost dropping off on the sofa at 10 am.
I fear my steep decline is starting.
Perhaps my coming three week holiday will recharge my batteries, with the only problem being the last but one day start with the end of an overnight back from Orlando so I have also booked off a jet lag day.
Then its back to work on Friday and knock off at 13:00 for the weekend (easy first day back reading e-mails)..
I saw your ghost keep dropping back for Brusgard so guessed you was just cruising. And yep, I had to work damn hard the last 1 km. I really enjoy those short all out rides. Really clears the lungs xx(

What pedals are on the BMC

LOL, probably true. But given what the state of the grass is like in my garden it would be a bit cheeky coming from me  Maybe I can convince @Jim Brown to come and spend some time in my garden getting my grass as beautiful as a golf course
You guys are making way more work for yourselves. Just flew into Haines Alaska on our way to the Yukon and took this picture of the Valley IMG_3839.JPG of the Eagles golf course. It's for sale if you're interested. Anyway look close and you'll see the greens are AstroTurf. No fuss. Always green.

Wow, I suppose if your weather is that extreme it makes sense.
If the green keeper did that here he would be shot at dawn.:gun:

We have a small london garden, overlooked by an oak and fir trees. Despite our best efforts and a lot of money invested in relating turf and looking after it 3 times we gave up. We always ended up with a muddy mess after a year or two .those oaks shed a lot of leaves. Invested in posh (read expensive) artificial grass and wish we had done it years ago. Mind you I don't play golf.
