Confession and Apologies
Apologies first ... To
@bridgy ,
@Daddy Pig for beating your SC5 times and to
@Brusgaard to jumping ahead of you on the SC GC by 1 minute
Now the confession ....
I re-ran the SC5 yesterday, the long 47km course, and had power 'problems' to the turbo. Only seemed to effect me on the ascents - strange

On the descents the power was ok on the turbo. I used one of the power sockets that AAAC posted earlier.
Screen shots below of my time, with a 3.3 w/kg which is way too low for the speed I was going. I was hoping the admins would pick this ride up as dodgy and not approve it, but the only red x was against improved time .... it didn't see the power drop outs as strange. It only shows a 'lost signal' of 3.966 which given I 'lost power' on every single ascent (but never for more than 30 seconds ... ) this seems far too low. This is the first time I'd used this cheat (and it will be the last) but I reckon you could become really practiced at it and gain even more time.
@AAAC 76C can you do your funky analysis of my ride and see how the speed and power graphs look? Be interesting to see if this looks anything like what Pepe's rides look like.
This is such an easy cheat I'd not be surprised if others use it all the time. It still gave me a good work out as I was having to get a good speed up going into th ascents but I didn't work as hard as I should to get that time (well, i'd never get that time by not cheating but you know what I mean). I reckon I could have knocked a minute or 2 off my previous time but not the 10 minutes I gained. I got off the turbo, and even though I posted such a fast time, and it was a good session, it just felt hollow. I know I had cheated and there was no pride in the time.
Anyway - just wanted you all to see how easy it is for someone as average as me to play the game and get a better time than clearly superior riders like Bridgy and DP (still couldn't catch
@AAAC 76C though

)
