Tommy, we have chatted about this so i understand your position. You know mine about giving money to a company that apparently holds its users in contempt. It's pretty brazen too. At the end of the day though if you have a bkool unit one balances that against lots of the things you have mentioned and I can see how you have come to your decision. It's pretty powerful watching Whorty and others improve whatever the medium and racing with them is quite a carrot. In the meantime I look forward to bkool surprising me with PM implementation or an accurate fec profile. Outside of that though they won't get another penny of my money. I would rather give it to RGT or BRVR.
Serious face off;
When you get fed up of laps of Regent's Park let me know and I will take you on a challenging tour of the Kent Lanes with a power up and a pretty decent caf in Westrrham.

Yeah it's not black and white for me I guess. But with my penchant for impulse purchases, and the missus' limited patience with regards the noise, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with 2 turbos..

I'm never going to get bored of Regent's Park mate. There's always someone taunting me into a race! You should defo get over here one evening / weekend. But I'm always up for a ride somewhere else too. I'm doing the London ride this weekend but anytime after that really. If we bunk of work for the day even better! :okay:

When I arrived on the start and saw AAAC, Daddy Pig and Bill there I knew it was going to be a hard race! Really enjoyed that though - and I won a sprint finish for once :wahhey:

AAAC - how the hell do you do that?! I think you were about 2 minutes behind at one point and then suddenly you appear in front! :notworthy:

Really enjoyed that one and feeling fully recovered wanted to go as fast as I could. Fantastic come back AAAC! Really wasn't expecting that but when you got to 30 seconds or so away I knew you might soon be on our tail. it was great to have some racing just like the good old days and that sprint at the end finished it off nicely.

Has it got a power meter??? Have they spoken to TDF about using that colour ?
I'm surprised it's not red.

I've got a 5:45 start time so I'll be right on your heels Bob!

I hadn't checked the weather lately in until you asked Andy but it looks like some showers at least. Boooo!

TT, I am not riding officially and will start and finish in Surrey hills. Enjoy. I envy you the full route.

I was never really 2 minutes behind, I had a nagging mechanical issue I needed to deal with, a loose saddle, with which meant getting off of the bike, so I waited for an appropriate descent and hopped off.
My avatar kept going but my watts dropped thus changing the timing for how far back I was.
The whole time I was tracking you guy's about 45 seconds back doing some interval training, rest going down and attack the hills.
When it got back to 30 seconds at km 27 with a fair bit of relative climbing to do I decided to try and give you guys a bit of a carrot (from behind).
I essence I went stupid between km 24 and 33 almost blowing myself up, then I had a small recovery on a descent, did a mad sprint up the final climb to try and catch you all out but it kind of petered out just as I caught you all.
As I said I thought I'd seen Bill off and then he came past me and I just died because I knew I had nothing left to compete with as you all started going for it so instead I lost 9 seconds in the final few hundred meters.
Thing was I was just going to take it easy.
Early on was just tracking you and was going to pick up anyone who dropped off.
I saw Bill falling away so I joined him in pulling back and dropped him off with you.
However that could have been Bill dropping back for me and pacing me back, not sure which but for my part I thought I was dragging him back.

Anyway as a result about 15 minutes after the ride I had a bit of a tight chest which is testament to my effort to catch you all.
Reminds me, I must find my HRM band, one of the cats has nabbed it and I don't know where she has hidden it.
