Yeah we may split up on the climb but if gaps aren't too big hopefully we can re-join after it and work together on the flatter sections

Ive been ill so don't wait for me on the second climb. I will do again and just ride the latter part faster when ive lost some weight!

Sorry @Daddy Pig - lost you on the first climb and thanks to the way bkool only shows a few riders on the leader board I couldn't see where you were, so AAAC and I pushed on. I cracked big time with about 6 miles to go (and was mostly just hanging on to AAAC 's wheel before that), and then completely gave up with 5 miles to go and soft-pedaled to the end. Don't think I will be improving my time on that stage after all!

that was close
killed myself on the climb to catch the bigger guys and ended up coasting the descent to recover.
all the time museeuw was coming back strong with @jacob and i was still recovering
but for a freaky bklool power spike in the finale he would have passed me
i had my down burying myself and looked up and i was hitting 800 watts which is not possible for me when i am so knackered
thanks for the support @Jim

Pleasure.

I saw you hit 600 watts.. huge effort in the last 300 yards.. I thought he was going to take you on the line.. awsome

Thanks Jim, I was going to give up quite a few times but you kept me in there, somehow!

There was nothing in the tank... legs heart and lungs all failing together... really feeling the illness from last week.
It really felt like riding in sand. I may have a look at the trainer later to see if anything is caught up in the rollers as on the hills at low cadence it didn't roll smoothly at all!
