I got 4th place behind you tonight Jacob and well happy with that. I still seem to have a problem with others going quicker than me uphill and the guy who got 5th gained 40s on me on that Hill in the middle. Not many dead stops at least.
I haven't had any dead stops on that course Bill

Spent about 3 minutes getting that chain loose and then back on the chainring. The chainstay protective shield also came off, so now I have to glue that thingy back on, when I get home! :cursing:
Looks like you'll have to do that ride again to gain the 3 mins you lost - that'll put you at a time of 48:14 ...... just 4 seconds behind me

If you choose the right ghosts though you should be able to do that easily :okay:

LIVING THE DREAM
I kind of forgot it was all about the time and actually really enjoyed the tactical games!

My view to Bridgy.
My main target was to help you better your time but when cagagoogoo joined in it became an interesting tactical race.
Had he not been so good on the climbs we could probably have just worn him down, but you just don't know.
I think we did right well reading each other and making him work.
We might not have topped the best time podium but it was a hard but enjoyable race.

I'm not afraid of him at flat courses, but there might be a little too much hills on this course to follow his ghost. I guess I can beat my own ghost by 1 minut as I got tired in the end.
In the real world NONE of us could follow Pep. I have rode some strava-segments around Barcelona and at Mallorca, and Peps results are very very strong. Maybe you know Sa Calobra on Mallorca (9.4 km 7.1%). Pep is #32 from 44.600 attemts in total. Only 1:38 behind Simon Yates!!!
Interesting... I wonder if Yates was taking it easy though as he's only 58kg or thereabouts. I'm even more sure that pep rides a tandem...

Edit: I'm pretty sure I could beat both of them on the way down :mrpig: !

I herd you're pretty good at going down!
A nice couple of hills to glide over before hitting the bush near the bottom...

Edit: @bridgy is this what happened to you last week when you dented your helmet?...

You might be right but that's not how it felt.
Mind looking back I spent quite a lot of time ghosting Manyana to see if he couldn't keep your wheel.
That's what made it a brilliant session as it was about brains as well as brawn.
And you came out best?....
