Looks like you'll have to do that ride again to gain the 3 mins you lost - that'll put you at a time of 48:14 ...... just 4 seconds behind meSpent about 3 minutes getting that chain loose and then back on the chainring. The chainstay protective shield also came off, so now I have to glue that thingy back on, when I get home!
If you choose the right ghosts though you should be able to do that easily

My view to Bridgy.
My main target was to help you better your time but when cagagoogoo joined in it became an interesting tactical race.
Had he not been so good on the climbs we could probably have just worn him down, but you just don't know.
I think we did right well reading each other and making him work.
We might not have topped the best time podium but it was a hard but enjoyable race.

I truly intend to do that, Sir! But that means I have to do 2 SC and 1 CG race, when I get home. Yikes!

You are right. I usually also only focus on the win. I forgot to check the best time before start today. Otherwise I had been 5 sec faster to get best time
I knew what it was but miss timed powering over the last major crest to set myself up for the descent as I was waiting for @bridgy.

You might be right but that's not how it felt.
Mind looking back I spent quite a lot of time ghosting Manyana to see if he couldn't keep your wheel.
That's what made it a brilliant session as it was about brains as well as brawn.
