Actually I think if it was just the two of us out there we'd have gone faster - there was a bit of slowing down to make the Spanish guy take a turn in front going on!

Great RIDE @AAAC 76C - and great teamwork to drop the Spanish guy who liked to sit in our draft and team time-trial away from him - who needs team radios!!

I hope riding with me didn't slow your overall time down too much!

caught myself out near the end.
i had backed off too much at the top of a rise and you shot by
had to work hard to get the time back and ended up missing the best time by 18 seconds
i thought cagagoogoo was going to be stronger than us but that time he had to chase back on i thought got him and put the hammer down and did a naesen
almost blew myself up but lucky that last descent was there

You are right. I usually also only focus on the win. I forgot to check the best time before start today. Otherwise I had been 5 sec faster to get best time
I got 4th place behind you tonight Jacob and well happy with that. I still seem to have a problem with others going quicker than me uphill and the guy who got 5th gained 40s on me on that Hill in the middle. Not many dead stops at least.

Wait until Pep has a go and then we'll all be losers! I'm sure he rides a tandem though... that's why he's so fast...
I'm not afraid of him at flat courses, but there might be a little too much hills on this course to follow his ghost. I guess I can beat my own ghost by 1 minut as I got tired in the end.
In the real world NONE of us could follow Pep. I have rode some strava-segments around Barcelona and at Mallorca, and Peps results are very very strong. Maybe you know Sa Calobra on Mallorca (9.4 km 7.1%). Pep is #32 from 44.600 attemts in total. Only 1:38 behind Simon Yates!!!
