Tried SC3 again tonight. Pushed as hard as I could but still only pulled back 1 minute. Very strange course with 'funnies'! At one point you go from I think +4% to -6.3% ... I was pushing 400 watts in the transition but the speed did not increase, and the turbo resistance didn't change either. Only when it dropped to -5% did the turbo catch up. During that 100 metres the ghost behind me caught me up and passed me.

Same happened with Steve's ghost. At the top of the first hill as it transitioned to -% gradient. I was just in front of Steve on the top, but by the time my turbo reacted to the -ve gradient Steve was 12 seconds ahead and pulling away. This always seems to happen to me where the transitions are from medium +ve to -ve ... Anyone else have anything similar?

Oh I saw you - I was just pooped by the time you came past me and I couldn't latch on to your wheels!

Turns out trying to go solo against the combined power of AAAC and Bill is not such a good idea

Good to see you back to clearly very good health Bill!
Not so much the combined power of AAAC and Bill, as the power of AAAC towing Bill along behind. You were too quick for me nearer the start as usual Paul so I gave up trying to stay with you and hoped AAAC was willing to let me latch on. But yes, feeling stronger each time I use the trainer now. Funnily enough I took the other bike out on the road earlier on and almost crashed because if I do anything but look straight ahead I get totally disorientated. I think I looked down at the pedals or gears then just veered to the left and almost hit the curb at quite a speed. Not going to try that again for a while.

Bill good to hear you are out on the bike again. TT and I look forward to chaperoning you around Richmond park when you are up to it:thumbsup:

I look forward to that too Bob, but dread to think what it would be like right now with my balance the way it is. Hopefully be better in a month or two.

I tried drafting Steves ghost tonight and the same thing happened to me on the decent.
He pulled away so quickly and it was impossible to follow his wheel.
Obviously he has a different trainer or he weighs 25 stone.:hungry:

I tried to change to this but I don't seem to have access to it.

I think you may have to buy a lower 'standard' kit and wear it out 60% before you can go up.
I had this problem a while back but all the kits I had were 'special' and no matter how much you wore them you could 'upgrade'.
Try selecting it again an see what it says on the screen.

I have noticed that as well.
I also occasionally get caught out if I'm backing off on a climb when working in a group and crest off power but the guy you are backing off for comes over the top on power and flies off past you at the gradient change.
