I had the same feeling actually! I think the ghosts we were chasing were from the Winter Cup so we were faster than we thought!

I'm surprised I was only 10 seconds behind your time today too though as I thought you were way ahead of me. I lost a couple of seconds at the end too as I eased up thinking I was slower than yesterday!!

The ghosts times were not from the SC. Your time is so far the best time done within this years SC.

I set up my ride with the WC ghosts plus @bridgy ghost for good measure. I can clearly say that I am no way near as fit as last winter! Too many beers I think...

Just checked the Winter league and I've knocked off 3 mins 18 secs from that time. I am definitely fitter and faster. If all other racers remain roughly the same, this will move me from 380 ish to 59th

I need to order some new disc rotors for my Ventoux trip

Going to have another cheeky go at SC1 this afternoon (probably about 5 ish). Set up some ghost who are a little faster than me. I've dropped to 17th in the ride and I'm conscious that we need to get the Team CC name higher up the leader board

If I can gain a bit of time today this will take pressure off me tomorrow and I can focus on putting all my effort into helping @Jim Brown . I'll be able to bury myself and hopefully he can draft me the whole way, then when I die he should have enough left in the tank to push on

@Jim Brown , for tomorrow we may need a tactic so that we find each other once all the live riders are around us. I was thinking, I have a big start and push on for 10-20 secs, whilst you have a more controlled start. That way we should be confident that I am in front of you. I'll then drop power until you catch up then we can push on together. Sound like a plan?

We need to convince @Brusgaard , @Randyberlin , @JacobSkovsgaard , @bugno etc to add Team Cyclechat to their BKool names and we'd have even more I see the SC and WC leagues as a chance for us to promote our own league (well, @BILL S and @gbrown leagues) and try to get more people to join us. We have lost quite a few league members over the past year so would be nice to get some back

My write up to come Andy. 2 ascents and some great descending. 160 rotors on mechanical rather than hydraulic discs and all peachy despite a few squeaky bum moments down to user error.
