I have just bought a Continental hometrainer, and it doesn't slip at all. And I stand up for just about anything over 7 percent.

Might have to get a new tyre soon, mine was slipping sitting down on Colle del Moncenisio!

Ah, so thats what happened - 3 of us completed the first start! I wondered where everyone went - I got caught out by the quick start too..

How come there was 2 Thursday Night Club sessions on go simultaneously? I jumped in with Kip, but was a minute late starting, so took off like a nutjob, and threw my chain.
So I quit and when I went to rejoin there was another warming up, so got in that one, and briefly saw Bill's heiny disappear over the horizon.
What the hell is that new back tyre? You took off like a rocket.

Can't fault this continental one Mark, but I 'd get whatever Bill's using! Fair play Bill, can see how you earnt Active 10! Every small gain I made, I would watch you put down a bit more power and maintain the gap. Nice work, you really kept me digging. Camerauk, you weren't far behind me mind, was never a big time between us.

Cheers Adam but ordered the Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Home Tyre before your post, from reviews it seems a good tyre, hopefully no slippage and no black rubber to hoover off my gym wall look out Bill I'm out for Pro when I get it

I knew it wouldn't be easy Adam so I took off fast hoping to get a psychological advantage. It was painful but being ahead made it easier to bare. Hey I shouldn't be giving away my race strategy secrets. A good start is crucial though I reckon.
The new tyre is the same as the old one and its a Continental Ultra Sport 23mm. The compound when its new is way different to when its worn.

I joined the session, 7 minutes warmup remaining, I blinked and the session was starting in 7 seconds so I quickly slowed down, and set off, all sorts of leaving and joining happened but as I had set off I just stuck with it along with Blueface and Zach.

Ah yes! Words of encouragement??
I'm not sure if "I'm off for some cool beer and chocolate", counts as encouragement eh Mark?
