Quick query for you long-standing BKOOL experts...

On the Bkool My profile page, there is a line - "Bkool URL: You should choose an alias"

What's that all about? You don't seem to be able to 'choose an alias'

Don't worry. Sorted, but not at all obvious.

With regards the banana thing, I had a similar incident with my towel! I dropped it, and you have to weigh up the potential gain and loss of leaping off the bike to pick it up, or bore on partially blinded by sweat in the eyes. I imagine you faced a similar decision as you stared at your energy giving sustenance as it grinned its big yellow smile from the floor, just out of reach
Towels are for wusses.
Wear a buff round your forehead. I haven't managed to drop mine, yet

Just checked out the Col de la Bonette, that looks pretty relentless. Where's the flat recovery zone in the middle Bill? I'm actually looking forward to it. Because of my hamstring tweak, going to have to be just cycling for a week or so I think. It surprises me, but cycling really doesn't aggrevate it at all.
Many of you guys up for the Thursday nighter tomorrow? You setting it up Bill?

I'm up for the Thursday ride, the cold seems to be fading and I've missed using the turbo.

Yup! I was just checking out tomorrows ride and its Rundlestone. Looks mostly uphill and takes about half an hour. So I'll start the warmup tomorrow at 7pm. Type Rundlestone into the filter and it'll appear (for anyone struggling to find it).
Yeah, Col de la Bonette is right up your street Adam if I remember it right. I'm tempted to let you go first but I get impatient so I might just have to do it twice. It's tough all right but not as long as Moncenisio.
I did my hamstring in a couple of years ago and I was amazed how I couldn't even walk properly but had no trouble cycling. I think it's totally inactive when cycling fortunately for us.

Darn it, that could be me relegated back to 4th again then. But I'm going to make you work for it Mr Kipster.

We can do some drafting if our paces lend themselves to it. Although apart fom a psychological boost, I don't find it helps much. More of an exercise in being sociable, than a valid racing tactic. On the Bkool I mean of course.

Sounds like brutally good fun. I take too long to mend these days to be attempting anything that thrilling.

The things we do hey? It's tougher than these ladies think being a man you know!
Keep your phone on the sill by the mouse, so you can phone the missus to pick up your towel and give it back to you.

Gets you a bit of abuse, but at least you don't have to stop!

Not too much point drafting below 15 mph or so, as wind drag is much less than gravity on the steep climbs. Sociable though, as you say.
