Tried iPad Air and it was rubbish, old laptop was very bad at 3d so ended up with decent pc and whizzy graphics card on 4k TV and 3d is great at 3840x2160 ultra hd!
Wow, nice!! The only thing holding me back from going that direction has been the question of how do I control the computer while sitting on the bike? Or do you get off the bike and go mess with the computer every time you do a different ride?
That Ginge Drop ride looks good fun. Not much margin for error though? And god help the dog walker not paying attention!
Yeah its a great little route: heres the Strava Segement: it gets pretty competitive in the summer.. currently in 3rd

Its too steep for dog walkers generally but we also send a person down first to make sure nothing fallen and warn any wayward walkers, My mate crashed alone on it once, limped to the bottom with a couple of cracked ribs and got his mrs to pick him... it wasnt until he got back from the hospital and uploaded the ride he noticed he'd been sparked out for 10 minutes!
His mrs is on Strava and hes banned from fast desecents now
And that is why we like BKool - worst accident to date, dropped banana on Finestre... cost me vital seconds tho'
Wireless keyboard and mouse sit on window sill right by the bike, so I can just reach over while pedalling.
One of those wave in the air mice would probably work well!
I have an almost identical set up Geoff! The wireless mouse was surely invented for the devoted interactive turbo trainer user.
I get that reaction from the mrs too... the only difference is im not on my turbo at the timeCracks me up when I look up and see my wife at the breakfast bar, staring at me, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. .
