Go for it @Whorty
We are so equally matched at the moment it would be great to have a live ride and work together. The problem is I can't make a 7pm session due to family and the children.

Riding against your ghost is nearly making me redecorate my garage xx(xx( each time

Chapeau
It's nice to know you're working as hard as me and not just cruising

There's been an update on Bkool's web site. As we have seen, from past experience, where they give with one update, they also take or break with the same update. The manual upload of files appears to be broken. I have been uploading my BRVR sessions to do some comparison sessions between the two. Not anymore, at the moment :cursing::banghead:.

I like to refer to them as a 'change' now because the word 'update' carries too much inference.

In the game or on the game?
You decide!
Looking at your profile pic I'm both in and on!

:banghead: OK that did not go well. I tried to do a bkool FTP test (for the first time) and failed miseribly. I could not get a rhythm. The trainer resistance felt like it was going up and down so my cadence was going up and down. Trying to set a reasonable cadence/power point just wouldn't happen. Ended up going bang just 10 minutes in :cursing:.

To those that have done the bkool test how did you do it and get a steady output/cadence?

I may have to resort to the Alpe d'Huez method . Or at least something that goes uphill but not steeper than 5.5%. I don't want to fool myself with an artificially high watts output due to my weight.

Boxer's, do you have a HR monitor? Is there a number at which you find you're about to pop. Ride at 1-3 BPM below. Cadence is what you're comfy with, 70-100rpm. If you've got burning legs by half way then higher cadence at the same HR or lower power at same cadence

A Velo session is a good method too. You don't have the 'TUE' or the high % gradients that your trainer has, plus you can get in a gear and pedal away. this is how I set my 300 watts FTP. Create a 30 minute velo session and just attack it :okay:
