Plenty ghosts on CG1 to chase down. Should be a short ride for you.Anyone fancy a bkool ride tomorrow? Maybe a hill climb? Looks like crappy weather all week
Edit: Might have a crack at CG stage 1
Tempted to chase my ghost?Hi TT.
I could be interested in spin - a re-run of CG1 or a go at 2.
If it's any consolation in my 6 weeks off the bike I've managed to put on 10kg in weightPlenty ghosts on CG1 to chase down. Should be a short ride for you.
Thanks for the email of shame @Daddy Pig . I tried to chase you, Brussgard and @Steve down to see if I could make up some time but I went off too fast and bonked. When my own ghost caught up with me I was suffering so I bailed I'm getting fitter but just can't hold the power long enough yet .... more training required

Which 8th?.... no hang on don't answer that.... I don't think I want to know! That's over an 1/8 of me!
No worries DP. I'm on the mend (or so I'm telling myself). Still in hospital awaiting an mri. And yes, the nurses are very nice . Maybe soon i'll be proudly sporting my very own stent in the carotid artery and AAAC will no longer be the only 'special' one.@BILL S , apologies I've only just logged on... sorry to hear about your hospital stay.
I just hope there were some pretty nurses to 'fluff' your pillow up for you!
Look forward to seeing you on Bkool soon....

Yeah I'm OK. Had a second chest infection and heavy cold, more muscle tears so I need to get a solution to those issues. Generally a lack of enthusiasm with hay fever affecting my asthma which is an ar5e. Managed hr of 185 today on CG1! (I managed to forget to switch the fan on!)That's pretty good going! I put on 3kg in 10 days so know how easy it is... Are you feeling better for the break DP? I think I remember you saying you'd torn a muscle in your back?
There is always the Live " Orbea Challenge - Critérium Dauphiné 2017 " at 19:00

My warm up is usually about 30 seconds to a minute just to make sure everythings working!Bit of a vicious circle... defininatley a pain in the arse...
I find it really hard to get my hr up that high. Maybe I'm just constantly tired when I ride I don't know. The only time I've ever really noticed going above 170 odd is when we did the nation cup thing and it seemed to help me. Do you do a long warm up before races?
Sounds like a lack of blood to the brain...Hope it's nothing too serious though and just caused by general excercise. It may be that trying to chase @AAAC 76C causes the issues! No worries DP. Funnily enough my second dizzy spell during the Thursday CG was caused when I bent my neck 90 degrees to take a drink of water and if I hadn't done that I'd have finished the race.
