I'm up for it! But Kipster's quicker than me. Bring it on! Not sure if Bill's talking to me, I told him he had a nice ass, from my spectator mode. Didn't put him off mind you!

I'm not so sure about being faster, you're way ahead of me on the climbs.

I'm happy to try and head up a team. I'm not sure how you would keep track of the avatars though???

Bill, please can you do start line duties next Thursday (and this Saturday if anyone fancies it), I'll try and spectate from the Hotel, if the wifi is up to it. Enjoy ...

Geoff

Good idea Geoff. I'll do start line duties this Saturday at 5pm (Pe again I assume) and next Thursday it'll be the next Thursday night ride.

:laugh::laugh: Thanks for that Adam. I :rofl::rofl: for a second or two until I realised I had to get back to my duty of keeping the Kipster at bay.

Sounds like i missed a fun race, err ride. I am going to try and at least complete it tonight or tomorrow. Starting steady and conserving energy seems to be the best approach.

Next Thursday is climb night!

Rundlestone, No 11 in the 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs. Category 2, scored 7/10 so harder than Haytor Vale.

9 km, average 4% Max 15% KOM is 18:55, so likely to take 45 minutes, give or take 15 minutes each way.

Like a half Mountain Goat ...

Then the week after is Velodrome night, fun, fun, fun!

I'd like to do the Saturday ride...how do I join in guys

Go to the LIVE tab then try to use the filter at the bottom of the page. Type pe into the filter and the ride should come up. Some people including me are only able to find a group ride by using the filter. I'll be starting the warm up at 5pm so you've got until 5:10 to join in before the start.

Also it's worth joining the Thursday night group / league, if you haven't already, via the Bkool website.

first proper road ride of the year, the turbo has made a big difference. The ride was just under 50 miles (we took a shortcut home as one of the group lost his legs at 35 miles), but didn't really feel it, all the climbs (well bumps) were easy. So thanks for all the motivation, competition and goat stages!
