I was only eluding to the fact I lost all sight of you after my connection went. Only Bridgy was left when it came back.
It was down for about a minute and when it came back we were still neck and neck but all the carrots had gone.

I could see you the whole time apart from when your connection went for a minute or so. As I wasn't feeling strong I was confused (as you can see I'm easily confused) that you weren't catching me up much near the start, and even more confused that I was pulling away towards the end. Figures of 6-700w on a slight downhill near the end, where it should have read about 350 might have had something to do with it.

I join the ride 10 seconds before my start time, having already typed in the password, then there's just the "No" to joining behind the last rider and you're in. Better than waiting on the grid IMO, and you get to warm up if you want.

Well both the website and sim appear to be back up and running now but I can't see any difference (Winter Cup not updated!) - and the sim hasn't prompted for an update of any sort. Maybe it will later...?

I'm doing WC 14 on Thursday in a bid to move up the rankings, it that was possible.
I'm sure they wait until Pep is leading and then freeze it.
Saying that he is probably an hour or more ahead of all of us.
If only we knew, it might make the whole thing more interesting.

As always, you can join the WC race hosted by BKool on Thursday. You can join the warmup/race at 5pm or 7pm GMT. Look for the yellow FEATURED label in the Live section. I'll join the 5pm race. Jacob Skovsgaard usually attends the early race as well, meaning you COULD face some competition (from him, not me). :-)

got me self a power tap meter and got to go hell for leather for 20 mins to set it up
can i do it on bkool ( thinking wc ) or is it going to send things wonky ? if i can use it , what do i press in settings ?

Berty did you manage to work out how best to do it? I've just ordered a power meter and like you I figured it'd be easier to get set up on the turbo.

Thanks Brush guard, at 5 GMT we are still at work in the UK trying to earn enough to retire before we are 67 so we can get more Turbo miles in!
I will try and hit the 7 GMT session but I don't finish work tomorrow until 06:30 so it will be tight.
I might join late and draft through the pack.

Uploading and general stability of the site has been bad lately so it is most likely not a SW change, more likely just maintenance on the server etc.
