What a lovely afternoon! 40 miles in the real world, and not really any incidents, other than a prat in a Range Rover who just had to overtake on a narrow country lane, and nearly put my mate in the ditch. Stupid thing was the lane widened to double width a few hundred yards later!

I'm spending too much time thinking about buying a new bike...

Thinking is a waste of valuable buying time! :okay:

Has anyone found this problem (&if not I'd be grateful if you could check if it happens to you too):-

Searching from within the sim for "all" (not live) routes, and filtering for ones with video - when route is chosen the 3d view is fine but the video view won't show, just get a grey box on screen. Video view for any "live" routes searched seem to play fine though....

Any thoughts? Glitch to be reported or just me?! Cheers

Mines fine, but there are two video search choices, 'AT LEAST VIDEO' and '3D AND VIDEO'.

I've just tried it and get the grey box. I cycled (sic) thru the views available and the video then started playing ok

Little observation yesterday,. I was watching the final TT in the Tirreno . It was a flat 10km route. The power that riders were putting out was around 380 to 420 Watts for this short event. It's great to see what the Pro's can do ^_^

For those that are interested.
Having had some trainer issues I took some bits apart tonight to check everything was 'there' and OK.
My Mk1 Classic had a plastic roller which fitted onto a serrated shaft.
My Mk 1 Pro, which I bought as spares for repairs, had a steel roller on a shouldered steel shaft that had a woodruff key.
On my 2016 Pro with the flywheel removed the roller spins freely on the shouldered shaft.
There is absolutely no feeling that the key has sheared and fouling at all, it spins just like its on a plain bearing.
The only thing that is stopping it spin is, I assume, the clamping force applied by the flywheel retention nut which pushes the roller against the shoulder on the shaft.
The other side of the shoulder is clamped against the left side bearing by the left spindle nut.
I have had no indication of slippage at all.
Either I'm lucky in that the woodruff key has never been fitted or this is another part reduction exercise and a manufacture cost reduction, i.e. no key way needs to be machined.

Well wasn't that interesting.
I'm expecting a lot of likes!

Surprised at that as it was only 10 km and almost a straight there and back.
The UK 10 mile (16 km) TT record was done on an average of 460 watts and Rohan Dennis was pulling turns over 500 watts in the Tirreno TTT.

Is that what the professional riders can do, what the bkool pro units can do, or what the pros on bkool pros can do?

It's quite pleasing that they don't have off the scale endurance power. On the TTT, yes they were pushing 500+ Watts but only for a short bursts. The commentator said it takes the lead rider when he drops to the back nearly all the time in the draft to recover before it's their turn again around 300-350Watts. Where Pro obviously differ from us mere mortals is their recovery ability whilst still holding a high sustained effort.
