A miss timed start or two, otherwise quite a close ride.

These are the corrected times (Moving Time + Start Time)

Sorry if I mistimed, I was still trying to find the instructions at 7:06pm and set off as soon as I got in. What is that AAAC 76C, some kind of heat seeking Excocet? it seemed to go into warp drive at the top of each rise. Still it made me squeeze out an extra 30Watts or so.

But thankyou for a great ride I thought I could hold you off once I was on the downhill but maybe next time.

PS Agnes my youngest daughter isn't surprised Daddy Pig beat me and says next time I should "DIG UP THE ROAD"

I had to use Peppa's bike tonight... I'm still getting used to riding without stabilisers!

Only my fitness is unpredictable Geoff. I always give 90% or so. Although tonight I think DP forced that percentage up a bit. :heat:
I enjoyed watching your little battle with DP at the end there - kept switching between you both watching both the watts and the heart rates go up and up and up....!

Looks like @Jim Brown and @berty bassett had a cracking race. It was good to have a break up that hill with you berty, that was a tough climb at the wrong time for me!

@berty bassett kept me going tonight, I was hammering it during the last mile in pursuit.. :heat: legs were a little sluggish after last evenings debacle...

That's the third time I've done that run and my times are remarkably consistent.

Edit actually I've done it four times and this one was my fastest time by ... 4 seconds.. thanks Berty.

I enjoyed that tonight but it was frustrating that bkool crashed for me near the bottom of the climb. I seemed to be relatively gaining time on the ascents and loosing on the descents so it happened at the worst time for me....maybe I need to put on some weight ^_^

I'm going to miss the next two Tuesday's so will try and make a Thur/Sat if I can.

Thanks Geoff and everyone.

Funny ride that:
I joined in the warm up assuming you could watch the session time and know when to start.
After the first rider set off I got of for a natural break and accidentally rotated the pedals getting back on so I crossed the start line.
So I thought I would log out and then log in but this time the countdown had started again so I had no clue when to set off other than the Time.
So I set of at 19:20:15 by my PC clock which was probably 2 minutes or so early.
My watts were all over the place and under reading illustrated by my 220 watts average at 47.3 kph.

I was getting that riding through mud feeling that others have eluded to and when I looked down my magnets were well into the flywheel and I was going downhill (I ride with my covers off of the turbo to avoid and grinding etc).
So I switched the turbo on and off to reset it. This happened 3 times. The first time I got off my bike to have a good look at everything.
One thing I can't explain is how low my watts were showing.

Well, you blew me away anyway. There were a couple of moments where it took a few seconds to alter the gradient on the resistance, I was still pushing uphill on a downhill section!

All that and you came past me like the bar was closing...!?
