Well, then have a go at it @TurboTommy !! Remember it HAS to be today, otherwise we can't compare the two of you. It's only around 8 o'clock in the UK, so you have plenty of time, before going to bed. ;-)

Really wish I'd seen this post yesterday, unfortunately as you say, I've missed the deadline now...

So, just out of interest, has this Nations Cup malarkey given anyone any ideas?;)

@bobinski perhaps a little chance to work off ones frustrations by burning calories instead of being a keyboard warrior?

Oh Bill, I have been burning off those calories with longish tempo rides in Zwift^_^. 4x up Box Hill and once up Watopia at the weekend. In fact my saturday ride was in solidarity with you when you were all putting the Hammer down. That said, work is more than a little frustrating at the moment. If you were to line up a mountain goat series i would be tempted even with my poor knee and my little NEO.

Can we see an up to date photo from your loft? I want to see where you have placed the AAAC/Angelina poster for motivation?

Or we could all do this next sunday morning. I am not certain i could finish it. Don't forget you pro users will have a bit of an advantage though not the power and speed we are used to.

ZSUN Presents the PUNISHER

11 climbs of Box Hill (12 minutes per climb)
173Km in Total.
The ride will average 2.2- 2.5w/kg

Sweepers will be in operation to help dropped riders
The ride will include a number of 'Pit Stop' for natural breaks and to replenish food and water supplies

This is a ride of attrition with the aim to get as many riders around the course as possible.

Just had my 2017 Pro switched to a 15 volt version, gues that would be a 2015/2016 Pro and now I got a stable signal :wahhey:.

Bob, much as I'd like to join you in Zwift so you could show me the virtual sights of Boxhill, I'm still rather occupied with bkool. Unfortunately I think it's an age problem in that I can't recover quick enough to make good use of both experiences. Zwift sounds good but I am set in my ways, and while I got very close to jumping ship when the new simulator came out (because I hated it), I actually prefer it now to the old one. Are you still able to get onto bkool or have you cancelled your subscription? You've implied that you still have it if you'd consider a Mountaingoat ride, but I'm thinking those are a bit boring for most Cyclechatters these days. Format of the Nations Cup was far more interesting if you get my drift. Might have to see if there's enough interest to get something set up at a somewhat more amateurish level.
Tempting as it is to get an Angelina/AAAC poster blown up and stuck in my loft to photograph and post up here, I really would be better off having a bit of a spin instead.

I think a mix of flat then hill then flat might be the way forward. With not much break in between ^_^

Got a link to that Bob?

You sure you got that last line right? Seems to be missing a "fast as".

I'm never going to be good enough to join a nations cup, but the idea of a cycle chat version would be interesting. Maybe split the teams with something like AAAC, me, Andy in one team. Bridgy, Jim, Bob another team etc. So each team has a mix of fast, medium and slow. Kind of like the TTT teams but each team is mixed ability.
