That happened to me once in the great outdoors. I was powering up the last bit of a hill and nearly on the flat as the rear mech ended up going into the back wheel and snapping across the strongest largest part of the metal. I nearly went over the handlebars into oncoming traffic (single lane road) and it was only my mtb skills that kept me alive!
You need to go into search near the top of the bsim screen, then routes and then filter. Add bill under nickname (he is usually riding these events) and the ride will appear.Need some advice for a Bkool numpty
I've never joined in on a Thursday before as I'm never usually home but tonight was my lucky night .
I logged on via the simulator and on the main page the chain gang route was listed under the league tab, so I joined and expected everybody to be there but it was just me
I started it anyway as I would have been at the back so it didn't really matter and I did about half of it and my daughters laptop to my horror had decided to do a windows 10 update on a 12.5% incline and I couldn't stop it
It's still doing it an hour later.
Question for the future is how do you join in a cycle gang league with everyone else

From what I could see I thought there was an issue with my ipad as power was up and down like a yo yo. It looked that AAAC was sometimes around 100 watts and then at 700! Maybe this was just spectator mode. Sorry had to dash without more banter, daughter has hit the tantrum stages...
But sometimes finding it in the live tab is not as easy as it only shows the last few rides started (unless this has changed)... I always look for Bill as you can't miss him

I had a nightmare! Constantly lost signal between the trainer and laptop - had to keep taking the ant+ dongle out and put it in again. I even stopped at one point and found a usb extension lead but that didn't help either. Then eventually I just gave up and cruised to the line in a grump!
I'm WFH tomorrow so likely escape from the laptop and be ready on the bike around 6 o'clock. Noticed it took Jim 1hr 20, so i'll be expecting the same kind of time if I can get to the end
Might even try to get off work early and see if I can get on by 5-30. What suits you best @Breedon ?
