Votes please on whether we do CG4 re-run or WC8 at 5pm. If you want to do CG4 and can make it at 4pm then going along with @Whorty might be the best plan as I've already done it and hated it so more inclined to go for the WK8 which is still uphill but much shorter.
Let me know your preferences guys or it'll definitely be WC8.

Going to be doing CG4 today at about 3 o'clock (need to finish in time for the England/France game ) If anyone fancies joining me let me know and we can agree suitable start time. Not going to be pushing too hard as it's a long hard one () so could be a nice pootle for some of you.

As you decided to opt for a cheeky red as apposed to cycling with a Brown, feel free to invite my ghost... if you don't, I will take it personally..

As I've done both and hated WC8 I won't be doing that. CG 4 was much more pleasurable however, having done that yesterday, my legs are a little wobbly today. Have fun and thank you for a very nice January chaingang - I thoroughly enjoyed all four. I look forward to February's CG.

Having done WC8 early this morning due to non availability later i have to say my preference was CG4, there were times i was happy to see a gradient of 10% and i'm sure i saw St. Peter somewhere near the top, for me - tough, enjoy whichever you choose

I took it quite steady Whorty, I tried to keep up with @Randyberlin going up but he turned round a minute up on me, by the time we returned, he had me beat by three minutes. I didn't kill my self on the way back..

Andy. See my recent posts about reversing the seat post. As AAAC says, unless you have a seat post like mine it is not possible to reverse it because your seat will end up at a very strange upward pointing angle. You will need the type with the circular serrated interfaces so you can swivel the seat around to overcome this. Once done it should allow you to get that TT position with the seat much further forward. I still have some experimenting to do with mine but need to get my tyre problem resolved first.

I could take my seat post off my boardman, it's a TT post which brings the saddle infront of the bottom bracket, if I want to. But I'm not inclined to mess with the setup as it's perfect for me. I could try and get another before I go . I have another couple of 2hour test rides, if they go well I leave as is

Need to do CG4 re-run as couldn't make it on Thursday but can easily do that with the assistance of some ghosts.

WC8 it is at 5pm. La Vuelta 2013 E10.
Lots of ghosts at various levels added so hopefully no one too lonely. Its a hard on though by the looks of it. Steep but quite short. I'm off to put on my tacx turbo tyre which should suit the ride and not be too sticky.
