Thanks AAAC. I think I can get the saddle moved forward enough if I get the right seat post. One with 0 set back might do it, or if that's not enough I might even be able to swivel one round 180 deg if it has the right mechanism.

I expect the angle will be wrong if you switch it around as it will be cast to give a horizontal from about 70 deg i.e. about 20 deg up from perpendicular from the post.
Twist it around and it will point up about 40 deg.

If you turn up to the DD with your seat facing the wrong way Bill, I will be pretending I don't know you, and will be pointing and sniggering along with all the other strangers!

Is you stem too long as well as a result of a longer top tube/bigger frame?

How about a big padded granny seat? That's what I use for the Strathpuffer24 and I was always surprised how few people took the p1ss out of me.

That is the case with my existing canyon post (zero adjustability) but some posts have a decent amount of angular adjustability. I'll know the angle I'll need to overcome after doing some tests tomorrow.

Yes, the stem could probably do with shortening to help push me back over the saddle. Think I'll give that a try too.

Wot frame U got Bill?
