I have 2 bikes that are relaxed for long rides and the odd commute in summer as I do get problems with my lower back.
I have another which is slightly more aggressive with bigger gearing which I use when I'm in the mood for some speed/training out in the real world but also good for long flatfish chaingang rides.
Would love a TT bike in black namely the ribblebut wouldn't really use it
.
Other things to watch with lower back pain is saddle too high and the resultant rolling of the hips affecting the lower spine and also pedalling style, either to lower cadence again causing rotation of the hips or a weak core thus allowing the hips to move when power is on.
