Unfortunately experience for many pro users in Zwift etc would suggest there is a lot of variance in power output that may depend on tyres, pressure etc but also perhaps variance in units. Short of a dial in there is no way to calibrate. So, perhaps request a dial in with bkool?
I had one back in November where the firmware was updated and the unit checked over. I'll put it down to an anomaly and of in early to check things over in future. Did 100km on Zwift today and it behave very well except for a couple of power drops.

In other news, I've created a route for a sportive I'm doing in march but for the life of me I can't find it. Where would it be found after I've loaded, named and saved the gpx from the website?

If you have manually uploaded the route, it should show on your dashboard similar to a route you have ridden.

Combination of requirements and desires on a dream bike. Comfy, slightly higher stack, less reach, flat top handlebars. Slacker head angle for slower steering. Gearing, old money 98" to 18" or 4mph(20℅) to 25mph all @ 90rpm. MTB electronic shifting with hydro road levers. Titanium frame with huge tyre clearance.
I have a few little bits and bobs to add, but first ride everything works, no adjustment at all on electronic setup, just love Di2

Andy, love the bike and your mods including the bling chain though I hate the stem bar combo. Can you cut it down? Oh , we have the same wheels and tyres. Running tubeless? That must be a luvverly comfortable bike on and a little off road.

Hi Bob, stem will stay tall until I find the perfect position. A few little items I used are from my parts bin, so may upgrade once I'm satisfied and can sneak cost unseen by missus^_^ Wheels and tyres(tubeless 28mm), will probably be for Sportive, club rides etc. Im going to get some Schwalbe G Ones(again tubeless, I'm a convert now) in 40mm for general pop to the shops riding. I have some aero wheels which will fit, so could use them on a fast flat sportive

Perhaps we can get Kipster to set up some comm's for the team on the day so we can take orders from the Road Captain and let others know whether to wait or not or if you are waiting etc.
We could also to with a Sports Director who can watch over the teams stats to see if anyone is 'cooking' themselves and perhaps even watch the opponents stats so we can get an idea of their condition.

Off to fire up the old server

Tada!!!!!!

I'm back (just in case anyone had noticed I had been away).

Managed to get viral pneumonia just after Christmas which wasn't very nice but that morphed into pleurisy which was very not nice. Only good thing about this cocktail of lung unpleasantness was that it was quite conducive to weight loss (but probably as much from the good bits of me as the flabby bad bits).

Haven't dared go near a bike as lungs still quite weak but have been walking and even trotting a bit. Plan to be back on the bike soon though.

Have I missed anything? (Assuming there hasn't been a cycle chat equivalent of Trump entering the White House?)
Nice to see you back. All the best on getting healthy. Don't over stress yourself after pneumonia it can come back :cursing:.

Went down with that crap 25 years ago whilst in Birmingham on a week long training course. Took about 6 weeks to be completly rid of it, most of the first 3 weeks in bed asleep.

Get well slowly but soon @Soarerv8

Very nice Andy well done mate! Kmc gold chain for added bling factor :becool:

I'd love a titanium frame but unfortunately the missus would take me out back and shoot me without a second thought...

Maybe you could rotate the bars forward slightly? But obviously whatever works best for you. That bike should give you years of fun!

I run the 28's tubeless. 4-5 flats on my 24h London to Paris (we ran over broken glass in the rain) sealed in seconds. Then, in the Alps I punctured the rear coming down at 30plus mph. Lethal on a clincher. Again, it sealed in seconds though a lot of sealant on frame and calf^_^. I am a convert too. Being a muppet I have ruined the front one on a chain gang ride In the loft !. Front of bike close to a wooden beam I didn't notice tyre and beam in contact. 30 miles later nasty groove in tyre where it had been rubbing:rolleyes: so, after 4000 miles all in I need to replace. Just need to source the G One's at a decent price.
Are those Aero's the Hunt aero's? Approx 1400g?

Haven't tried it yet but only popped it on for a quick look, 3d looks amazing though, going to try it out tomorrow for a more in depth look

Anyone tried it on a Bkool Pro yet? I got my acceptance yesterday and tried to use it but with no success. It seemed to pair OK with the Pro, HRM and Cadence Sensor. Nothing shown in the Power Meter box. Tried to ride but no watts shown and no forward movement.
I've been in touch with their support and sent a log to them, just waiting now.

I think @bazzer99 experienced the same, rider was pedaling but no forward movement.

I had been assessing my position on my Boardman and come to the conclusion it was just a little long and lower in stack so wanted something a little more relaxed. My Boardman can go my son, he's slightly taller than me.

re Road GrandTours - i too am having problems although my bkool pro trainer wasn't detected, got this from support, haven't tried it yet

I see that the bkool smart pro turbo trainer has a power meter so it should detect. Can you please check to see if you are not running any other apps in the background that are using the ANT dongle? Also, can you please unplug and plug back in the dongle in your system and re-start the game and re-scan for the power meter?
Last resort, reset the system that you have and try again, it did help other users with this similar issue.

Please let me know if you have got it to work afterwards. If not, can you please send me the log?

and we will have our developers investigate further.

Is the suggestion the pro has a power meter the issue? I don't think it does but uses an algorithm to calculate power relative to speed of roller, weight, incline etc. That's why trainer road and Zwift had to wait for bkool to use ant+ fec.
