Domestic harmony is overrated!

Yeah, but looks like Mrs TT has been sewing something onto your rear brake. I would be careful. She hasn't by any chance insisted on updated life insurance Recently?!?

Does anyone have any idea when they will release details of the 60 mile route for the DD? I was wondering whether I could manage it with my heart rate limit, but it mainly depends on how steep the steep bits are. Anything above 10% and my heart rate gets too high and I have to slow to a crawl. I guess I could walk up anything too steep, but that's just embarrassing...
Don't forget that both wiggo and froome had a brief walk/run up a hill last year and look at their credentials! Sometimes it can be as quick to get off and lets your body have a break for a minute or two.

^_^ Well spotted! I swapped to different brake calipers a few weeks ago which is when I took the pic. The new brakes needed longer cable / cable housing hence the uncut cable.

Dear Mr Whortmiester. Due to your selfless actions yesterday on Mount Dingo, I have set a ghost up for you to draft on WC stage 7.

Have fun.
Very kind :okay: Not sure when i'll get to ride this week due to work, but as soon as I get that chance I'll be using you to get me across the line  What's the course like? Is it one of those undulating energy sapping 4-5% jobbies that I just 'love'

Geoff. I like the fact that Shimano has started to allow cross matching road and MTB of their Di2 system. Hopefully in the future there will be full mix and match systems. My new XT with road shifters has a little feature. If you're on the big ring on the front and 11 cog on the back, if you drop onto the little front ring the rear derailleur moves 3 gears at the same time to stop small/small cross chaining.

4% at its maximum and two laps. I slowed on the second lap due to tired legs from yesterday, so I may have another go. I've gotta catch up with the chaingang first though.. Landan.

Not sure why you be going from 52x11 to say 39x11 though.

I want to take it to wales Berty. I'm hoping the training I put in and maybe a slightly bigger cog on the cassette will be ok. If the weather looks terrible I might leave it at home but what are the chances of rain in wales :okay:

Tommy, you, me and few others are on the heavier side. What gearing are you thinking of using for the DD? I've done club runs on 34-11 spinning like mad! We don't have long hills around here over 9℅. Having trained to spin more I feel it will be beneficial to use smaller gearing and up the revs

im still working on permission, but I'll be one of these two depending on the weather and if I want the very slightly easier gearing. The first one has a semi compact with a 12-29, the second a compact with a 12-27. The first one is lighter and has the slightly easier gearing (half an inch on one pedal stroke).

I could put a 12-29 on the second one.

Evening all,
Any tips on bib shorts for long rides
After a 2.5 hour Trainerroad session this morning my rear is still aching.
Been recommended castelli free aero race and Lusso Aero 50 by two friends. Also seen rapha core bib shorts for £50 in the sale (wiggo branding)

Rapha are good, I prefer Assos but for £50 go for the Rapha as I've never seen Assos that cheap. My son uses Castelli but he is a skinny sod, all 55kg and 6 foot of him.
