Ok, im clearly lying about the invite noting bkool as part of selection criteria, ill get my coat:cheers:

I have not stated you have lied...

Consider this:

You got an invite
It isn't working at present (at least it isn't working for Darryn)
Zwift said, as recently as 2 days ago, that at present the Bkool is not supported and have not issued a statement to the contrary or offered a software update to add support since.

As such, it is fairly safe to say, regardless of your invite, the Bkool currently does not work with the Zwift software.

Very true, heres hoping

If they do in the future, near or far, support the Bkool trainer, that is excellent, why would it be anything but. I simply posted the information that is currently out there, in response to various comments. I am not looking for a feckless argument nor am I calling anyone anything.

Edit: You could use the Bkool like a dumb trainer and your power meter to transmit the power data to Zwift in the meantime.

Fact,
it is in BETA, it doesn't work properly with anything!
They have added BKool only recently, so they are obviously doing or about to do something. That is about as much as anyone knows on the matter, statement or no statement.

Were I work we also have statements, but we also have an R&D department (as Bkool does). Adding criteria to a testing procedure usually leads to statements being amended, even more so in BETA phase.

NOTA, read 'smart' trainer as opposed to dumb.

Yeah i know, was said tongue in cheek

I think i posted up earlier i did wonder if they were going to use the power meter data for working on the bkool as it phased. They did that on TR to get averages when virtual Power came in.

I'll give it a go thurs or fri and post. More importantly i need to get Alp d'heux and the hill climb in!

Well, I hope you get your trainer working in one way or another with the Zwift software and enjoy using Zwift, I have certainly found it to be useful for passing the time having clocked up several 5+ hour training sessions with it on in the background.

I emailed bkool to see if it would ever open up to trainer road this is the response I got this morning.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your message. We cannot confirm that yet, we are sorry.

See you at Bkool,

Which suggest something is in the pipeline as it wasn't a flat no.

I cant for the life of me find the link but there is a piece stating TR and BKool are talking, it may be DCR.

Find my session and then challenge me using the button at the top right!

Nice route, thanks.

Defeated me by 1.06. You pulled away on the flats, i lost almost 2 minutes on you. Managed to pull a minute back on the climbs. I blame the whiskey tasting at the weekend :mrpig:(flying pig) ;-)

See when exporting rides from bkool for strava it doesn't let me choose the file type and only exports as a fit file. I can see 4 radio buttons to select different file types but i cant select any of them.

When it goes on strava the distance speed and time are wrong and there's no elevation. Any one else have more success?

I export mine in fit as it doesn't let me select anything else. Never have a problem with the data though

You should be able to export any of them files but I export FIT file and it works fine on Strava.
If you log it as a stationary trainer you only get basic info but if you upload it as a ride you get the map and elevations.
If I get any KOM's I upload it as a trainer ride so I do not take away anyone's well earned KOM's they get while out riding but if I don't I upload as a ride.
