Trainerroad are linking, they announced they will connect with bkool. I did the app beta with them and asked through that before I bought the bkool

It's a sensible move from bkool, they will probably then focus on the firmware more too. Zwift and trainerroad I imagine will become the software biggies as they have stayed focused on just software from day one

That's excellent news. I can adopt a program from trainer road and stick with bkool for some fun in the leagues.

Exactly why i checked before buying, theres zero conflict between TR and Bkool, it will be great too as TR are linking more into suffefest too. There is even talk of inputting resistance intot he vids..First they need landscape though tbh.

Be nice if bkool did some decent training programs. Ones that changed with your fitness. The options on there own is poor

I just got another email confiming zwift beta with a bkool and to follow a link to set up the trainer.

Is it bad im considering canning my group ride to try it tonight.. musty be strong..

I'm just glad others are starting to support it. I did worry about bkool folding and leaving me with a useless trainer

It would be a bit crazy of them to stay as the only locked up trainer, i think ELite, CycleOps following KICKR have given them no choice, they are not TaCx. I think there is space for both Bkool and Zwift as Zwift is game only, its not real routes or at least doesnt use uploaded GPX for routes.. they can coexist.. they can be friends

That climb we did last night, I kom'd by a minute! I changed to workout of course. But that's quite a difference,

Pretty sure the bkool can't simulate 24%, they only claim 20%+, so the very steep climbs are unlikely to be realistic.

The question is, how close are most units up to 20%, and how wide are the tolerances.

Well personally I can only just move my pedals at 20%

Did you email zwift to see why?

Not just now, but I emailed them at work earlier today to change my profile to a BKool user as I originally registered as a power crank user. Maybe there is some BETA function they need to switch for me now to link to the BKool?
I'll keep you posted what they say.
