The results show you won by 4 seconds, you currently have the record on Cothelstone and Buncombe!

Well that makes no sense at all! My Turbo seemed to almost lock up, unless it was just my chain jamming in my rear cassette, which it did. Bu it didn't feel like that to be honest. But you were long gone by then, I could see you slowed, but I didn't make it passed you on the screen, even though I was pedalling like some drug crazed demonic moron! I really enjoyed th drafting when we had it working, and when you dropped back I slowed to let you catch up a bit, and then saw the gap closing at a hell of a pace, so I put my foot down, and you went by me on what looked like a 1300cc Hayabusa!
You took some reeling back in then, and that was when I threw my chain....but it was a good half mile from the end when that happened...so...pffft...who knows, or cares, it was fun!
No way did my Turbo replicate 20% though, it seemed to max out in the teens, on that last hill. My wife swears she finds this Turbo harder...but I disagree!
I would love to do a like for like and compare it with someone elses, because lets face it, BKool are pretty shabby at sorting stuff like that out!
Maybe we should just post one resistance unit (Bill's) around between us all and see how we get on on Huez?

I would say you free wheeled to the end, as it was downhill, I could see you had slowed and I was closing fast, but knew I didn't have enough time left to catch you.

A great ride, I enjoyed it! A bit of co-operation, taking turns in the lead then a mad fight at the end!

Interesting.. just been invited onto Zwift Beta with a Bkool..
Now that is interesting as Bkool told me straight that they wouldnt be opening up to Zwift. its the only reason I returned the unit during the trial period!

Let me know what you think of it.

That is interesting!
I have an invite to use the BETA site as well, but haven't used it yet as I was using power cranks which aren't mounted at the moment. I'll see if the BKool connects tonight. I had tried last month, but no luck back then.

And one last video gone live with 3D, again within 24 hours of upload.

This one is my go to hill climb, do it at least once a week. Not too steep, but unrelenting, around 2 km (1.3 miles) of climb, averaging nearly 8%, maximum is 13% or so, so nothing too silly.

My best time on Strava is 9:26 "in real life", KOM is 6:06

I think this one could be a good one, as it is a challenging climb, without ever exceeding the Bkool trainers capabilities, and short enough to really push on.

Would be interested in what you guys can achieve ... ^_^

Im on an outdoor ride tonight but will do all the downloads etc. Thing is BKool have confirmed they will open up ant as i believe Trainerroad are working on a link. I think once that open Ant + any third party can access.. i may be wrong but i specifically put bkool in the beta application as my Turbo Muin application is using a different email used so no confusion

That climb we did last night, I kom'd by a minute! I changed to workout of course. But that's quite a difference,

When I registered for Zwift I'm sure bkool wasn't an option, just re-registered and bkool is now there, selected it and will wait to see if I get an invite.

I'll let you all know tonight when I download the software but good to have it confirmed Kipster I suddenly was worried I'd been hallucinating!

I wonder if the likes of trainer road will follow as well now

Trainerroad are linking, they announced they will connect with bkool. I did the app beta with them and asked through that before I bought the bkool

It's a sensible move from bkool, they will probably then focus on the firmware more too. Zwift and trainerroad I imagine will become the software biggies as they have stayed focused on just software from day one
