When you pick your map you just use "set up" and whoever has done the ride is shown and you can select them as ghost riders, you can also choose bots to ride against.

Thanks. I've never tried that but have sometimes had some annoying bots come along for the ride. It's good when a real rider or two joins in though.

Yup. One way or another.

Rutas Los Pantanos-Valle del SOL seventeen times.
Or La Riba just the once:heat:

Went for La Riba just the once, and just managed to get under 1 hour, so didn't even get within 10 minutes of you, not that I expected to.

When I finished, I realised I had forgotten to pump up my rear tyre, which being tubeless had probably lost a lot of air, so I might have to try again later in the week.

It is hard to keep the Watts up on the declines, pulls down the averages quite a bit.

Still a good effort Geoff, never mind on a flat tyre. Was hoping to put my attempt in today, but have just felt too ropey tbh. Tomorrow hopefully now.

Phew, just managed to battle through the usual bugs and publish the next two weeks Thursday Night CC League.

30 minute Velodrome scheduled for next Thursday 18th, meet at 7pm (for 10 minute warm up)? If you miss it you can try it again the following day (couldn't start the stage any earlier as it can't overlap the existing league)
I couldn't find any way to password protect the Velodrome sessions

Next week I scheduled a longer 20 mile 3D session (El Bosquet-Porrera), between 21st and 27th, but since Thursday is Christmas day, I suggest we meet at 7pm on the Monday 21st or Tuesday 22nd, whichever suits people.
I have managed to setup a couple of KOM and sprint intervals and password protected the session, so you'll have to enter "cyclechat" without the quotes to get into the session. Should keep Juan Carlos out!

Hope it all works out, and you don't have it scheduled too many times!

You're definitely closing the gap though Geoff so keep up the good work. Tyres actually make a heck of a difference I find and a good soft tyre (pumped up hard) will help you get more watts down. My old solid road tyre I had on the past few days was great on the road but rubbish on the turbo. Yesterday I replaced it with my continental ultra sport and what a difference. Much better grip and quieter. More Watts.

Wow, they've finally put my first video live ...

http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/542874?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1

An easy 9 mile loop that my missus and I use for winter training, no longs climbs but rarely flat.

Took the video on a Garmin Virb elite mounted on my handlebars (so a little wobbly) and had to scale it down a bit to get it to upload.

The best time I've managed on the road (with traffic and junctions) is 30 minutes and 5 seconds (damn those 5 seconds!)

If you give it a go, please let me know how you get on.

One of my friends makes a cameo in the first few seconds, jogging past ...

If no one else minds, can we make it Tuesday, only because we are away for a couple of days, Xmas shopping, in the Metropolis of Cardiff!

Hi.

A new Bkooler here so om sorry if this question already been answered.

Anyway, I have been making my own routes with google maps exporting them to .gpx. I get distance/slopes etc but they never seem to work for 3D. Ive also uploaded routes from Runkeeper and these works with 3D.

What am i missing when i create routes in Google Maps? Im using this to convert the .gpx file: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input?convert_format=gpx

Omg, how close! Sorry Geoff, just pipped you! I found that REALLY, REALLY hard! And I'm not just saying that. Could be a bit of weekend over indulgance, but probably more the fact that I have a lot of work to do. Have to admire you Bill. Your time is very impressive, really does bring home the realisation that one has so much work, blood, sweat and tears ahead.
Felt really nauseous for the last mile, wondered if I was going to make it at all! Will try this one again I think, before it expires. Funny how, the more you hate a route, the more compelled you are to keep attacking it! Thankyou Bill, a good choice!
