Good luck on the Rebel Run guys.

Honest! I won't be offended if I get challenged and beaten. I found it quite a difficult one.

To save me reading over 100 pages , how does this work then ? I see the classic trainer is £280 and there is another for £469 . Then it says one year free membership , so how much does membership cost ? Are there other costs ?

Pro comes in at about £387 + in the uk and extra £7/month for premium membership. You'll need a decent race bike to make the most of it. No other costs. You need a decent internet connection.
If you buy direct from bkool the costs are probably as you've stated above.

So the classic trainer is just the turbo trainer ?

I've received a couple of these messages on my wall, but it just states you've lost the challenge.....who ,what ,when and where I'm left thinking.....is there a way to find out

Pretty sure this happens when the person who challenged you has their privacy set so you can't see their effort.

A bit pointless telling you that you've been beaten by an anonymous stranger, IMHO it would be better not to bother!

The Classic is last years model, the Pro is this years, slightly upgraded model.

Difference is mainly a few rough edges smoothed off on the Pro (quieter resistance engine, wider stance for more stability, damped arms to improve wheel traction when standing), all minimal.

The transition between gradients was also smoothed out on the Prom but this should be retro fitted to the Classic as a firmware upgrade, especially if you purchase the Classic direct from BKool.

The online experience is the same for either.

Depending on your alerts settings you should get an email telling you who beat you and by how much. I find getting the email adds insult to injury and makes me want to go after revenge. If you select REVENGE on your wall it will programme the ride and it'll be the first one to come up in Bsim under Programmed.

I think you will find that someone can win a "so called challenge" just by doing the actual map you did with-out even using the "challenge button" I expect your aware of this but just in case anyone else wasn't. I found this out myself winning a challenge without even challenging anyone just by using them as a ghost rider lol....seems silly to me but there you go.

So how do you select them as a ghost rider? I had noticed I'd won some challenges I'd never made before but just assumed I'd been challenged and the other rider lost. So no I was not aware of this.

When you pick your map you just use "set up" and whoever has done the ride is shown and you can select them as ghost riders, you can also choose bots to ride against.
