Bill, you can make me an admin, would like to understand bkool a little more..

I'd suggest we have each new ride starting on the Thursday for group ride and then run it up until the following Wednesday so everyone gets a pop at it even if they miss Thursday night.

I've never been able to see friends riding when I've looked at the bkool app before, we could have one person start the race at 7 and actually start at 7:10 to allow everyone to join( run by bkool apps clock).

That all sounds good to me. We may need a new Group as I think its only one active League per group. You are admin in the existing 'The Rebels' group along with Varela, Berty & Harley. Sorry I can't change that it seems without deleting the group. We can run additional groups though.

Anyway, to start off a wee bit of fun between tomorrow and Christmas I've set up a new league with my limited searching ability to run one a week (3 weeks) up until 24th Dec. When you see these you might only want to do 1 a week (Berty ;)). I did swear I would never do the 3rd week one again, but oh well, that was 2 weeks ago. So it should show up tomorrow in Leagues under the Rebels group.

In the mean time someone could set up a new group and we could have a different league similar to what Rayvon suggested ^^^^.

Absolutely no point making me an admin, I am a complete plum, when it comes to IT stuff! Candy Crush stretches my technology skills to the max! Just got in from work, but judging by previous comments, Bill's initial selections are going to be a 'face, slap' affair for me. Does anyone elses rear tyre spin out on inclines of 10% or more? Mine does! Is the solution more pies, or stickier tyre?

as it says Alpe d'Huez starts
tomorrow i thought i would have an easy night tonight pampering my knees after a day grouting floors
should start at about 6 tomorrow if anyone wants to giggle at my efforts
and yes - my wheel spins out all the time , i'm just under 10 st and usually like hills but all i can say is that this must be good training - i've even got a bungee to try and keep some pressure on - do you think it would make much difference having a cheap 28 tyre - at the minute i have got an old super slick 23 what cant be helping matters

My continental ultra sport is good and sticky once it gets warmed up. They're cheap too. £15 or so.

Anyway, you've all been quite positive about the rides I selected considering what I was expecting. I'll probably get some hate mail after Col de la Madeleine but that's still a couple of weeks away.

I wont be around until Monday :cheers:so good luck to anyone who tries the 1st stage. Setup seemed to go ok and parameters are as per the last one so all efforts should show up.

Positive? That first one, which incidentally is the only one I've looked at, is less appealing than my mother-in-law coming for Xmas dinner....which she unfotunately is! So 'resigned' is a better description of my reaction to your gruelling selection Bill!

I'm 12st, but 6'3", which yes puts me in the same category as racing snakes, and on steep inclines, I may as well be on ice! I am going to try elevating the front wheel a bit, and see if that helps! Although for Bill's rides, it might have to go on the dining room table for realism AND grip purposes!

bought myself a well treaded 28 to see if that made a difference ..i had schwalbe ultremos on very slick it does make a difference with the slipping but not perfect......im out of action with my turbo waiting for a new power lead to turn up so been out on the roads but too bloody cold for me

Just tried riding against you on that 1st stage League run! NO CHANCE Bill! I couldn't get anywhere near you! I had to give up about halfway! It is quite impressive, the rate you power up that hill!
