Didn't think it looked too stable, top heavy as well.
Have you printed enough to replace the ducks in yer bath?

You can use the bolts, so long as you take things steady.
You're making a replacement wall bracket for yer radio.
No aluminium, but I do have 1/4" brass rod, around 10" in length. I've used some of it.
No tubing, sorry.
How much do you need?

Emily can...

How much did that cost in plastic? wow.

Tubing is no problem, just under a metre..
I can source it all (somewhere)

Antenna actually.
Same idea as a TV aerial only bigger..

She "cheated", it's not a single piece print. Still a decent project though.
When will you be going to try and beat her attempt?
With over 30kg of plastic in it, a fair bit. How long did it take to print.

You gotta B&Q near you? They do metre lengths of steel and aluminium rods. Not all stores though.

Antenna bigger than a TV aerial! How much bigger?

Not got round to doing anything today, later..
Just try clean it again..

measured larger Benchy
7.5 L x 3.3 W x 5.6 T (cms)
small
6 x 2.8 x 4.7 cms...
used a tape measure.
Yet, you'll be doing something soon. Idle hands n'll that.
Maybe one of those problems where the thing clears itself.

Was thinking more with it being a test piece. No discernable differences in print quality between the sizes, and colours. Or have you not checked.

Slow Down Day, is it one of those "National/International Days"?
And you've an extra hour to do it in as well.

I'm printing the Cat test piece (Maneki Neki) and first layer had laid down fine.
I'm wondering if the initial first layer laying down speed might have something to do with it.
I'll try finding out how to slow the initial speed down, its a part that is never seen tbh...
I'm busy (cough, cough) dusting down the Bob room..
Toodles is napping so I'm having a break..
Granny had a canary when I accidently switched the hoover thing on.....
so break in progress with under half to do..

More cats! Will they at least be black?
Is there a means of slowing the process down, without it affecting the printing.
Dust, maybe that's yer problem. It settles where you don't want it!
I've this (weird) image of you, feather duster in hand now....
She'll have heard it, and remind you in her own way later on.
The canary needs quietening down, throw a dark blanket over the cage.
This break will push total print time up a bit, but will it affect quality?

Just did a slow first layer test and it worked..
reduced from 80 down to 30..
new PLA though...
the quality is okay at 80, it's just the initial first layer although you won't see it as it is the base of the object.
If it helps the print then I'll take the time hit..
I've a bit of material which goes over the printer when not in use.
You can buy enclosures so maybe look at one....
I'm a dab hand at the housework...

Trying to run before it can walk then.
Is the speed drop as bad as it sounds, less than half the speed.
New plastic used?
I bought similar covers for the computer, printer, screen and keyboard.
Could you not print an enclosure?

Years of training maybe. . .
