Don't know about that, odd coloured sunrise this morning. Down here at least.
Make sure you don't waste it, they're expensive these days.
Quiet day planned?
With two grandchildren here plus two daughters?
Only gruel! Even Oliver was allowed a bowl.
No hot choc, in ages, that'll be against the Geneva Convention. Or is abstinence on your part.
True enough that, carries on like this we'll have plenty of nothing.
Never had you down as someone who'd swindle others.

Abstinence on my part...
I'm still almost coffee free.
I meant everyone seems to be out to make an easy buck out of the customer.
I have under extrusion...(printer)
off to redo temperature, if not nozzle change may be needed...
model finishes okay, it's the initial first layers that all over the place...

You made it sound as though you'd a quiet day planned.
Plan didn't work?

Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder. Better than having to give it up under someone else's instructions.
Yer right on that bit. And when they've made their bit from you, they pass you on.
What's tha printing now?
Could you print off a new cup for yourself, that'd last.

Suppose I could, foodstuff is a bit specialist I think..
Handy just to 'print' yer food...
Bars of chocolate, Kit Kats etc....
bit crunchy though:laugh:
I'm having a slight problem on the first layer but going to try a couple of things later.
I did a 'Benchy' test piece, first layer wasn't right but the rest printed okay,
I've been resizing thing, the Benchy is 125% of the original file and I downsized something for a radio, program does it for you but I'm getting daring:laugh:
I'm up early to play radio and get ciabatta dough made.....
Tough life...

Just a case of upgrading yer printer really. There's one at a university in Bradford or Leeds that can handle 3D food printing. Only cost a little over £200,000, if I remember correctly.
Supposed to be bad for the environment as well as expensive. KitKat's are crunchy anyway.
Is the baseplate affecting things if it's always the first layer giving problems?
What's a "benchy"?
Maybe you're getting the hang of it now, but it doesn't want to relinquish control, so it's making slight errors on purpose!
Up early to play radio I can understand, all those different timezones to contend with, and the changes as well. But ciabatta dough, why?

Kinda just short of that type of money..
might have to check the sofa for dropped coins....
Blockage in the hot tube or nozzle...
hopefully got it back now....
it happened when I changed the colour of PLA.
I'll do the same later and see if different.

Benchy?
It's a well known test piece..

The model contains a number of difficult-to-print features including overhangs, smooth curved surfaces, numerous other holes and shapes, and very fine details – all at a scale that's measurable and doesn't take too long to print.
Google 3DBenchy

I like ciabatta bread.
I mix/prove the dough in the bread machine

Friday morning, folks :hello:
Weekend and all its carousing await:cheers:
Owdo
You wanting to make it last as long as possible?
Just remember to keep the noise down when yer carousing! Especially if yer planning on doing it in the early hours.

Might be short of a place to leave it as well.
With all these polymer notes(plastic) nowadays, could you not print yerself a "few" and use them? Save checking down the back of the sofa for a day when you can't go anywhere.
Blocked nozzle sounds painful.
Easy to clean out or not?

I looked, since you posted, and got an idea of what it looks like. Now I'm trying to work out which kids series it's from.

You'd not be making it if you didn't like it, would you.
You knead the dough for other stuff as well.
Breadmaker, what happened to making a mess at the kitchen table when baking?

I hate those notes, slippy as hell..
I can see the reasons for them but nah, weird feeling.

Breadmaker saves the mess and the dough can prove as well....

And they don't float well...

Fair enough, not bothered about when then.

Trouble hanging onto them!
Feel odd right enough. Don't place them anywhere warm, they wrinkle and shrink.

Just throw everything required in it, leave, and come back a few hours later to one it made earlier...

You talking about yer loaves, breadmaker, polymer notes or Benchies not floating well?

3DBenchy...
not a reliable boat..
I think of Jaws every time I see them.
Peter Benchley wrote the book.. twist on his name?

I even printed bolts earlier, be interesting how they fit, I have to tap the threads though they screw into to...
another ten to do tomorrow and two brackets..
then to order the other nuts and bolts etc..
You don't have a spare 5m of 6mm aluminium solid rod?
plus some 16mm aluminium tube.
I'll source stuff next week at some point....

Didn't think it looked too stable, top heavy as well.
Have you printed enough to replace the ducks in yer bath?

You can use the bolts, so long as you take things steady.
You're making a replacement wall bracket for yer radio.
No aluminium, but I do have 1/4" brass rod, around 10" in length. I've used some of it.
No tubing, sorry.
How much do you need?
