Easy print as a test piece then.
The big boys have a serious market, it's why they have the injection moulding machines.
There's smaller, bench top machines, available if your looking to expand.
At least the cats don't need feeding.
On that picture, were the fins visible on the base for structural purposes.

The 'fins' signifies its not a total infill, I think.
Not a smooth finish

FYI it's not for celling fitting
belt clip on radio fits nicely into the back.
Room to fit antennas too.
Well thought out.
Much better than the one for sale on Etsy.

Thought it might have been small fins, lessen the possibility of damaging the connections on the bsse.
Who'll see it that'll bother about it. Maybe get smoother finish on the ones you sell.
You might have had it upside down when you were just listening. Maximise your space available...
Seems it, the ones from etsy don't have room for the aerials then.
And no waiting in for it to be delivered either.

I was most impressed with that one, detail and fit are excellent plus the 'space' at the back, the belt clip clips nicely in to it.
I have 5 handhelds for that band, 4 too many
Let's say they won't be in and out of them too much so any wear not a problem.
They are what they are free files done by someone else,
and I'm grateful.

Oh boy, Bob's gone nuts..
Cut the grass and 'fitted' a couple of the sleepers at bit work getting done on.
One to cut and fit tomorrow if dry.
Now cream crackered:cuppa:
but glad to have done something useful...

It goes on a belt, i thought it were more a stand for the handset. Well, you made it so must know how many more you needed.
They were printed just for storage?
Free, and they saved you some money.

The "ganger man" watching on as you went nuts. Offering words of encouragement.
You're supposed to "liquidated". No more gardening work.
You could be waiting, and watching for a day or so. Rain on the way for a day or two.
Cream cracker yerssen too much and you'll not be able to relax for the game.
Done something useful, don't you do that every day?

Storage?
may as well, I never really use them..
A couple have AM so listen occasionally.
I had one on for hours yesterday and heard nothing,
band is dead around these parts...
Thing is, handies listen to one frequency (I have a couple which do split frequency work so can listen to two)
I have my SDR which can display the allocated band and I can see 2 mhz of spectrum and if anything is going on in that space, I cannot use it use it to TX...

All handies are supplied with belt clips,
It's like the old keys on a belt clip thing..
not for me.

Yep, auld legs are a bit achy this am.

That's some usage you're getting out of those printed parts.
They only work on the one frequency, can it be selected by you at least, and left listening.
AM, that still in use?
Dead because no-one uses it, because they can't, or has the second caused the first.
All day listening in and nowt, that's bad...
Listening only, no-one to transmit to.
The belt clip stays in place on yours then, even though you don't use them.
Nowt wrong with the old days or ways.

Rest up and take it easy today.

Bit of a fog here...
Only outside, not foggy inside as well though,
Officially a wet day - 6.3 mm

AM, still gets used but not by many...
Haven't seen anyone using it for a long time..
Big aluminium 'birds' keeping it alive, radio now going FM, DAB or online.

The prices on some of the imported handies is so low.
I normally buy mine from abroad....
arrive within seven days now, no slow boat now.
I monitored 2m earlier for about 3 or 4 hours, nothing..

The same here.
The worst of it came around 11 hours ago. Not much, but driven by the wind.

Thought it'd be those "upthere" keeping it going/alive.
Aren't your handies digital these days?

You've not come across any you can print off yet.
The "big aluminium birds" carry them nowadays. Unless you're buying in bulk.
Nothing, there's no-one out there!!

Good morning :hello:
Bright and breezy here at the Towers..
Storm Toodles is about to lay waste.....
ably assisted by her wee sister:laugh:
Owdo
Dry so far here, sun trying to poke through, breeze died down overnight.
Double trouble!
Wait whilst both are able to walk. They'll run rings round you, in opposite directions...
