It's a budget one....
It'll do for what I need it for...
odds and ends....

Baseball about 9ish tonight so night sorted....
I were wondering if it'd be a job you'd take on. Always assuming I could get a copy of the file they used.
Not knocking it, it does what you want it to.

You'll be cheering for "your" team?

WX men were wrong for down here. Dry, instead we have rain.
Give 'em half a chance and they'd come up with a way of drying it.
If rain is due, hope it stays away until late afternoon,
Toodles will be here later, lets her burn off energy outside.

Were cheering from the edge of yer seat as the game drew to a close...
Wiser heads than ours coming up with the "blueprints".
Surprised you got another. Last one sounded as though it had put you off them.
I thought I'd gave up too..
the self levelling is a boon plus we'll see further down the line,
it was a bargain price

I did a cradle for my Quansheng, posh with two bits to stand antenna,
A basic cradle only on Etsy is £12.61 plus postage
so.......I also passed 5 on to club members as freebies, missed a trick LOL
I should have asked for a couple of quid for funds....

It's stopped here, for now. Nearly twenty hours of non-stop rain.
You'll have a spare set of dry clothes for her, won't you.

At least you found one you like using. Further down the line, I've visions of a lorry turning up outside your house and delivering a big printer.

What did it cost to print yours, compared to buying online?
Could have covered your costs at the least. You didn't mis-type the number needed when you printed your own off.
Feedback on how they work/last could help. Freebies, you're loosing yer touch!

Lorry delivered big bag of stones....
I dunno tbh, nowhere near that..
good earner if you get the business.

Boy, she was non-stop, her wee sis just snoozed..

Right,
quansheng.jpg

approx 330 metres in a 1 kilo spool,
says it uses 9 metres..
spool cost 15.99 (using black) so 44p (PLA) plus electricity used, approx .12 KWH per hour....a couple of pence apparently.....
say approx 50p...

I don't mind....still got one spare..
I'm doing cradles for all my handies...

Stones are no good, can't print anything with stones. Handy if you've got a garden to stone over though.
"If" being the operative wording, that and no complaints about quality. Just don't let on it's not as cheap as they think.

You'd the pair of them to watch!
Any pay increase involved.

Put like that you wonder how those making them in bulk have the nerve to ask what they do. Their overheads won't be as high, per individual piece, as yours.

How many are you short so far. Halfway there or less.

It depends on the time it takes to print the item..
84 mins for the item in previous post image.
I'm doing another handie cradle later so will compare time..
Let's be fair, if there is a market why not ?....
Postage I guess depends, they all seem made abroad so costly.
Maybe a business opportunity
At the end of the day, 50p is cheap, and remember that is a more basic cradle than the one I printed

I'll find the info for my quansheng cradle and compare

If it took less time, you'd do more?
Compared to a injection moulding machine doing it in seconds. How many cats did you say you'd printed.
Why not indeed. Just be careful with the free sample handouts.
£10 postage, for one of those. They're having a laugh. The remaining £2.61 would be profit per item, for them.
Nah, you're already back in the gardening business.
Might well be cheap, how they last will be the real test.
I'll await your shock at the price difference.

What were so good about it that you were up at that time.
Supposed to be dry down here.
They're correct so far.
its 13.24 and I'm assured it will start raining in 14 mins, we'll see.
13.41 and nothing

Cats?
loads over the two printers, I've three here
Injection moulding is okay if you have a serious market....
I'd imagine anyone punting online won't turn over a lot..
I'm just printing off odd things I can use....
got enough just now..
Below the original Quansheng

Mind you, what can I do for the garden..mmmmm

Easy print as a test piece then.
The big boys have a serious market, it's why they have the injection moulding machines.
There's smaller, bench top machines, available if your looking to expand.
At least the cats don't need feeding.
On that picture, were the fins visible on the base for structural purposes.
