Bins and two bag system here. Sorta works, if the bin men show up. Otherwise it can be sat for two weeks.
That sounds like the shop I worked in. Lass who worked Sundays in the run upto to Christmas had to pay the same as the idiot we had as a part-timer who sat in the shop for 16 hours a week.

You can check for planned work down here. It's the unplanned, emergency work that caused the problem. And has been stopped to allow scheduled work to be done. They can continue it once the scheduled work is finished!
In the meantime, the whiff of gas can be tasted in the air.

I used to let bloke know if I came across fly tipping on my cycles around the many back roads,
through here, you phone or mailed in and van headed out, took a photo then back to office to pass on worksheet.
My man? just called a lorry and up they headed, simples.
Think they got called out for the local stuff.
I did report some recently and cleared with 48 hours (could have been earlier).

I don't know if quiet, last Fri even and Sun for a couple of hours is the only time I have left here..
now in the 5th week of feeling yeuuugh (2 week covid) and now I'm struggling with something else (antibiotics are knocking 'f out of me)
Might end up at club tonight though....

Sounds just like round here. You report online, verbal reports aren't taken anymore. They pass it onto a team that deals with sorting out which department(s) should deal with the matter. Someone goes out, checks, and if they feel its not their job it gets passed back.
Previously you got put through to the correct department, and they dealt with it. Different sections within the same department don't talk to each other, let alone other departments. Keeps the managers and supervisors in work though.

You still not getting out an' about. Winter will soon be upon us, with the cooler weather.
"Might" doesn't sound too hopeful.

I took a leisurely journey through the canals of Yorkshire last night past satanic mills and stuff, watch a canal program for over an hour, canal boats once fascinated me but after seeing all the wee niggly bits, I'll exist on dry land.
It's panic on't telly for any rain, wind event..
