I was out early for a walk/jog and got caught in a little fine drizzle the last bit. It’s off now and looks like being a decent day for our Highland Games. I don’t bother with them. I did go a couple of times many years ago but no notion to go again.

I may watch some of the Vuelta this afternoon.

Turned out not bad here, a tad breezy though.

Not a fan of summer! It only lasts a week most years, I'd have thought you'd make the most of that week.

None here, bar a damp feel to the air in the early hours. Clock inside away from said damp air.

Walking in a winter wonderland type. Snow up to yer waist, as you battle the clearing of the driveway.
By all accounts its almost unknown up there. Think of what yer missing, hosepipe bans, roads melting, complaints it's too warm, forecasters telling you its warmer than the Sahara...

I just prefer cooler climates..
Hot, sunny days were never my favourite as I worked outside all my life..
That's why even my holidays abroad were around Xmas or New Year time....

Having done both, inside and outside jobs, prefer the outside ones. Especially as you can't really move away from those moaning its too warm inside.
Office with a dress code of "sensible".
They helped you stay upright, all that weight on yer feet. Might have made it awkward getting back up.

Having done both, inside and outside jobs, prefer the outside ones. Especially as you can't really move away from those moaning its too warm inside.
Office with a dress code of "sensible".
They helped you stay upright, all that weight on yer feet. Might have made it awkward getting back up.

funnily last ten years were rigger boots..
had to find a good fitting pair though,
PPE given out was of good quality and after a good moan they relinquished the fiver addon fee for that type of boot due to the stuff I did.

I used to have a pair of steel toe-capped trainers. Then it were shoes(steel toe) in the office and shop.
If it made you more productive, why not.
Wet end to yesterday led to a damp start to today. Grey at first light, clearing now.
You still on school run duties.
