At the prices they're charging, they should be able to help her. And others like her.

Clouding over slightly here, so may keep Jack at bay for another night.
No gritters out down here, t'ain't cold enough for enough consecutive nights.

You finding this knitting malarkey to your taste so far?
Just about to see if I've 'knitted' one, purl two etc etc
should be just finished doing it's thing......
Extremities crossed...

How'd you know when its done enough, if anything at all?
Is that the cold, or summat else causing you to do that.
Dr. Frankenstein I presume.
It's alive....
Definitely not the cold causing that!

Taste test tomorrow morning....
I made a summer fruits compote to mix in..
gonna try a mango one next..

Ciabatta day today..
enough left for lunchtime loup de loup(home made) ra morrow.
Another batch requested so busy morning..
I'm lazy, the breadmaker does the dough

I insist on the soup having 24 hrs to mature
some folk think I'm daft until I let them taste the difference..
even cheat and use a soup maker now:laugh:

Middle child borrowed it and now enthuses about it.
I even have my own apron..
just like Mr Porter.....

I'd say we've a similar temperature here.
Conflicting forecasts, one saying it's to warm up this week, the other saying it'll go the other way. Who to believe, if either?

Taste tomorrow, no dinnertime tasting session today?
Mango, Ciabatta, loup de loup, do you not have any Scottish food to eat?
You just throw everything in and let it get on with things. The same with the soup maker!!

You don't play the part of "The Naked Chef" in all these kitchen shenanigans do you?

Sod that, burnt extremities....

Ya gotta be cosmopolitan nowadays..
It's hip to be..
not like you folk down south with yer avocado toast and fancy coffees..

'Ey yup, Barista, put a little dash of cinnamon on mine like'
Mrs M is a superb maker of soups..
Maker is a veg mix and cubes, water et voila...

Good morning :hello:
Hopefully temps a bit higher..
I see what looks like ice on our wee car window..
I'll let the boss go out and check..
Owdo
They might...
No ice down these parts. Would you not be earning Brownie Points by going out and checking, possible extra for clearing the wee window?

Sounds painful, however you managed it

Me be cosmopolitan, not a chance.
I'll stick with doing my toast on the grill, using plain white bread. And supping my tea whilst toasting the next set.
One place I refuse to go into, there's not one locally that sells an ordinary coffee with just milk and sugar added.

Is that Mrs Mhor you're talking about or the soup machine?

Toast? Gregg's bloomer or Johnny's orange toasty...
I always find it amazing that toasters are sold with no thought to bread sizes,
best toaster I ever had was an ASDA special which sadly got binned after a product recall..

I see someone has brought out a sausage roll making machine

Closer to 8°c here at present
You keep your half of the car clean and sparkly?
The toastie loaves have been getting thinner slices over t'years. Granted you get more slices per loaf, but that's not why I buy a toastie loaf.
Non of the bread manufacturers seem to check what size others are producing either. Change yer bread maker and you need another toaster. Which is why I prefer the grill, accepts every size going.
Binned because of a recall, was it actually faulty?

You'll have yours on order by now I suppose.

It was an alleged fire risk so had to bin it...
I love burnt toast that would be too far:becool:

Nah, don't eat sausage rolls too often..
might buy a pack occasionally if in for a loaf.
Who knows? might roll with it:rolleyes:

Of the sort that'd see it burst into flames the second you took yer eyes of it?
Burnt toast with added iron, copper, plastic and a few other unexpected extras.

It night get you eating more of them, especially yer own handiwork.
How big a pack though.
Yer tempted to try one aren't you. Go along with yer breadmaker and yer soup machine. Matching colour scheme on them all of course.
