Used to be a guy panned the burn just above Dunning. Went a walk with dad one day and he was working away. Showed us the pan and you could see a few wee bits in it.

The Ochils have produced over the years,
I found out too late..
that Mrs M had a cousin in whose farmland a burn ran through which was a producer but as normal, these places all got 'restricted' due to folk just doing stuff they shouldn't like digging and widening banks etc etc. The usual.
I've watched some of the you tube stuff and well, a load of bull in most cases..

Well if they're producing it, it may be nowt more than fools gold.
You ever found any, or are you in one of the two counties not to have produced gold.

cheapest I can get it for is 80 quids and it's not a thick book.....

Well, the "supervisor" shouldn't be doing the work. Just pointing out where those doing it were going wrong.

It was more to knock her to sleep but the constant 'joogling' kept her awake..
