It was more to knock her to sleep but the constant 'joogling' kept her awake..
I put it down as a nature walk..
strange wood though,
I've never seen much birdlife in it..

Haven't looked at forecast.
a bit warmer than yesterday morning
When you say knock her to sleep, were it that bad? And were she securely fastened in.
Give her a bit of a "joogle" and she'll never want to sleep.
Very little bird life seen, or heard, this year. Normally there'd be loads about.

Well, dry day forecast yesterday. Guess how the day is going so far! Temperature wise, around the 10°C mark.

Think it may be Jock expression of the word...
she has teeth now so can get her own back..
As normal, all windows upstairs open but it got windy and I had to keep the cold out...

Got an email earlier from a pal who intended travelling by train..
trains were off for two hours..
lack of electricity apparently...

we get occasional magpies, georges (woodpigeons), crows, jackdaws, pied wagtails, robins, starlings, sparrows and occasional others visiting our wee green patch, mind you cats occasionally pass through but they can deter other things so never really chase them.

Might be...
Best watch yer fingers now then. She'll have 'em in no time.
Not bothered about keeping the heat in, or the wind out then.

It's lovely when that happens, and yer stuck behind an electric train, one of those fast intercity express types, outside the station but unable to go anywhere for who knows how long.

We get those, but like yourself with the cats they don't hang around on the ground long. Seagulls are now attacking some cats, there's hope yet.

But where does the old air go?
If the XYL did get blown out, what would you do...
Similar points issue when I got stuck on the train just outside Leeds station. With the workplace in view. If they'd let me get off, I could have walked in to work. Instead it was nearly two hours on a commuter train, with no ventilation.
You should do it, before they close the bridge.

It goes out and blows about, freshens itself up and sneaks in the next morning...
Close the window so she can't get back in...

I should..
I've cycled across the original Road Bridge, loved to be able to do the new bridge like the UCI men's worlds race did..
It's impressive.

How do you know your not letting only part out, preventing it becoming one again? Might be why there's a headwind when you go cycling. It's trying to remind you.

Did you stop and look down at the water below.
Next time there's a train strike, just nip across. Aside from possible cameras, who'll see you.
Better for cycling in though. Not too warm.

You'll do another before long.
With two Young's Un's to keep you company.

Funnily Mrs M sees a glass of water she gets seasick..
she's bravely sailed the Harwich to Hook and back 3 times and the Stranraer to Belfast twice and back..

If it's that bad for her, she's not done too bad on the ferry. I know some that have started flying rather than face the ferry again.

Started sunny here, but with a bite in the breeze. Light rain on and off all afternoon. Similar temperature though.

At the prices they're charging, they should be able to help her. And others like her.

Clouding over slightly here, so may keep Jack at bay for another night.
No gritters out down here, t'ain't cold enough for enough consecutive nights.

You finding this knitting malarkey to your taste so far?
